I was excited to find Chickpea in Union Sq. Well, that's it.
The service was fine and so was the food. The falafel was too bland for my taste. I was expecting a lot more flavor. It was great that they have a salad bar, you can pick and choose and get something new each time. Honestly I wouldn't go back for the falafel, you're better of trying the chicken shawarma. The hummus was just okay. It was actually a bit on the salty side. Just because the food is healthy doesn't mean it should be bland, just saying.
New location right outside of the train! Great falafel sandwiches, delicious choice of toppings like corn, onion, cucumbers, tomato, black or red beans…
