  1. Typical starbucks. I try to avoid this place, but every now and then it's the only place open or the easiest option and I stop in. I find the coffee to be cheaper and just as good as many of the surrounding locations like Paneantico or the Bagel Supreme on 5th Ave or even Terranova's down the street. Even the cupcake shop has good coffee for less money.

  2. This is a much SMALLER Starbucks than the one on 86th St., a few blocks away, but it's mostly locals who come here, since it's off the high traffic street. There's not enough sitting room at this Starbucks, and it's usually always taken up by someone who put their bags on the seat next to them or across them. The baristas also are very clumsy, as on this visit, the barista dropped 2 orders on the floor, leading to frustrated customers. The drink I ordered wasn't like the one I've had an previous Starbucks, it had no flavor at all. I'd prefer you go to the one on 86th St.

  3. Good location, great service, plenty of table seating. The store is clean and the staff are hospitable.

  4. Small location that looks like it gets very busy. Stopped in for a iced Lemongrass Green Tea which they did not have any prepared. So I had to settle for iced green tea with scoop of matcha.

I really love the lemongrass cause it has spearmint and is very refreshing. But the green tea was suffice wasnt top notch but alright.

Thats one of the things I love about Starbucks you can get matcha added at a very reasonable price. —- FYI Matcha is a super food which too me is super fantastic!!

  5. These guys have a solid team here now, and it's been that way for at least 2 years.

They are friendly and helpful, and the drinks pop out quickly.

The seating area gets pretty crowded with "internet squatters", but that's not why I ever go here.   Overall, very good.

  6. This is the closest Starbucks to my apartment so it's definitely my go-to spot. However, I wish they put more staff in the morning to make the line move quicker. Nonetheless, they are all very friendly and surprisingly, one of them remembers my name after my second visit here. Trust me, it's a big deal when people remember my name and know how to spell it. If you're not in rush to go anywhere, there are tables for you to sit down and relax.

  7. I generally avoid reviewing Starbucks despite being a patron for years… but will now do so after having visited every single one of their coffee shops in the area.

As with most locations, the ambiance is distinctly Starbucks, from the music, chairs, tables, refrigerated foods/drinks and amenities counter.

The only thing that I'd often grieve about is how few tables there are as their always taken up, some by people who hoard them for hours on end. Don't people work?

The one thing that sets this apart is the vibe the baristas invest into their craft. Great customer service from beginning to end and that comes down from store management. They never appear overwhelmed despite having lines and they work through queues seemingly effortlessly.

Since this location is further away from the 86th Street Business Improvement District, their volume may not be as insane, so there is a chance for the staff to recognize you, and be able to figure out what your go-to drink usually is… so if you happen upon Bay Ridge, and Starbucks is one of your destinations, this is the one you should go to. 4.6/5.0
