As a NYC transplant to westchester, I miss the days of clubbing util the wee hours of the night then heading to a food truck to eat everything on the menu. After moving to "Weschestah" i really dont like the drive into the city for a dominican delicacy or not. The chimi, not to be confused with the argentinean sauce, this is a sandwich that has cabbage instead of lettuce and a ton of ketchup-mayo sauce on a fresh bun. Along with Frituras "pork tripe" and the rest of the insides of the pig (i love me some swine).
They also have tacos and patacones (a sandwich with plantains instead of bead) that are super delicioso. Try the pulled pork or pernil. It has no sauce, the juices are from the way the pork is cooked and pulled apart.
I dig it, just minor changes needed to be great. The truck needs a sign, something to pull my eye to its location. i will speak to the owner about that.
best chimi in Westchester, dont have to go to the city for chimi anymore
