My family and I often patronize this food market when in Flushing after Yum Cha. It sits on the corner of Main Street directly opposite Flushing's library.
They have a good selection of Chinese veggies, the sidewalk carries fresh fruit which is rather very pricey to market value in meeting the demands of today's ailing economic turmoil. The staff is extremely abrasive and vile rude towards patrons. When requesting to separate our purchases into two shopping bags to balance the weight in Mandarin, my mother was given a rude scowl look complete with an attitude from the cashier: "you can carrry all this in one bag, why do you need two bags?!"
The entry-way is always hustle and bustling busy especially on weekends yet always wet and slippery from deliveries. The staff does not put any carpet or cardboard to prevent patrons from slipping. I believe it's cash only and mostly Mandarin is spoken here, sadly no Cantonese.
