I'm a local who frequent this dunkin donuts to get breakfast or a late night snack. I've always had something to complain about but never paid it much mind. Generally, when I go in I'm well dressed, make up done and I use my card. This morning I had am experience that upset me. I didn't look my greatest but was just rushing so I stopped in anyway before getting on my express bus to midtown to get something to eat really quick. I ordered a croissant donut I wanted to try it for a while and I asked for a cup of water because it's really cold out and I just walked 4 blocks instead of driving because of the snow. I didn't want buy a bottle of water because I don't like carrying things and commuting, I just wanted a quick sip. I have done this at many places in the past and their has never been an issue. Today, I felt offended I asked the employee for the water and they said sorry we can't give it to you. So I said why not, she then mumbled to someone else in their language and came back with what they considered a cup of water, I kid you not it was not even a half filled cup. It was basically one gulp. I felt offended, mistreated, and judged based on the way that I paid and looked. Today I didn't look as put together as I usually do and I used my left over change instead of my credit card. These employees judged me and thought that I was homeless or unable to pay when this isn't at all the case. In any event, even if I were a homeless or unfortunate person I would have hoped an establishment as rich as dunkin donuts could spare a full cup of water. This was a terrible experience and I personally will no longer support this establishment.
