“The drinks part was easy because everyone opted for the 2- hour unlimited mimosa's, bloody mary's, and sangria.”
“You can also spend an extra $10 for a 2 hour period of unlimited refills on mimosa, sangria or Bloody Mary from 11-3:30.”
“I ordered the Eggs San Salvador, which is like an eggs benedict but on papusas instead of an english muffin.”

One of the best options in the area, Piquant gives you all you could want in a NYC area brunch. Good food, beautiful ambiance and unlimited mimosas +sangria!
For my brunch entree I ordered the obligatory steak and eggs that is served with a side salad and home fries. The steak does come out slightly over cooked so where as I like my steak medium well and I received it basically well done, next time I'll just order a flat medium and take my chances. The French toast is delicious for anyone craving bread. The waiters do a great job at keeping your glasses full so hats off to that.
Reservations highly recommended. It's crowded during summer brunch hours.
Is it an unwritten rule that all the hot brunch spots are small & loud as hell?
My friend and I arrived at about 1:15 to the place being packed & we were afraid that we would have to wait hours.
There was no wait at all for a table for 2, which was good.
BUT you might sitting uncomfortably close to another table of 2.
So close that every time they reach for something out of their purse, they hit you.
OR waiting for them to leave so you don't disrupt them while they're eating.
The Prie Frix brunch menu is $15.
1.5 hour of unlimited mimosas, sangria, & bloody marys for an extra $10.
French toast or pancakes for an extra $7.
Still winning price wise.
I had an omelet with cheddar cheese, turkey bacon, & spinach.
It came with home fries, fruit, & a salad.
I thought the salad thing was a bit weird. Who wants to eat salad for brunch? Who willingly eats salad period!?
Our waitress Johanna was very attentive & kept our mimosas flowing
If you're looking to try this place out, don't roll deep or you're going to have to wait a while to be seated.
I've eaten here before but this time for dinner. The first time I ate here, I had an unlimited mimosa brunch with a group of great fiends. The brunch was an amazing turn up!! That day, I had the standard pancakes with a side of those things the fill the tummy.
This visit, I was with the boo and I happened to be on a strict diet to fit into my tux. This presented a challenge because I had to watch what I was eating. The good thing is, the options and the portions worked perfectly. I decided on the tropical Salmon on a bed of coconut rice topped with a mango chutney with asparagus on the side; what's not to like. Absolutely excellent!!!
The service, music playing in the background and everything else made the night perfect. I would recommend Piquant to all my friend and family.
I came her for Brunch this past Saturday and the service wasn't up to par – hopefully only because there were two big groups there as well so the kitchen was lacking. It took us about an hour to get our food and we waited so long to the point where the manager gave us a plate of fries to tied us over as he apologized for the inconvenience.
Yes bad service shouldn't get 3 stars but the food was good when it eventually came out and its not a first time visit for me so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that it was simply a one time occurrence. I understand they had to big groups there but they were really dropping the ball that day. When we were seated the manager had to ask us if someone was waiting our table, then when a waitress said she would take the table – she ended up being a magician because she kept disappearing. At one point she made my 8yr old upset because she came to the table twice, took orders, gave drinks and the third time my little one caught an attitude asking for silverware for the table. Moments like this where your youngin recognizes bad service just makes you tear up because you're proud.
Either way it felt like the manager was more concerned about our table then our waitress. He greeted us at the door, he sat us, he found us a waiter, he explained the wait – maybe she just needs to send her back to waitress school – it was some tall skinny girl with dreads. I might go back eventually but when I do if I see a huge group there I'm gone because its not worth the aggravation.
Piqunt is a really cute Brunch spot in Brooklyn. Apparently it gets packed and they aren't keen on reservations so you will be taking your chances coming here. The atmosphere is bright and energetic which is always what I feel a good brunch spot needs to have. This is certainly a young/hip place to come with friends on a Saturday or Sunday. The bottomless deal is about an additional $10 cost on top of your entree for 90 minutes which is cheap. This includes: mimosas, bloody Marys and/or Sangria. I decided to stick with the Mimosa which was good. For my entree decided to go with the Steak & eggs with potatoes. I thought that the food was good but my only complaint was that it was not hot at all. My food came out pretty cold which I was not too happy about. Other than that the service was attentive and friendly. The steak wasn't the best cut but it was seasoned very well and the eggs were good. Overall this is a good spot to brunch it with friends! I would definitely come back the menu is pretty extensive so Id like to try some other things.
Came for brunch, had the Route 66 and loved it, Egg poached perfectly, fresh biscuit, I went with the unlimited Bloody Mary/Mimosa option and was disappointed in the wait time for refills, Several servers cruised the floor refilling glasses but seemed to have trouble finding us in the corner.
I ordered the Portobello sandwich (happy to see a vegetarian sandwich option). It wasn't my fave. I usually like portobello with caramelised onion and not many extras. This one had Spring mix, guacamole, and cheese–an interesting combination with portobello.. The fries were good. The host was very charming and the waiter was great. Five stars for customer service.
There's also happy hour 2 for 1 margaritas and $2 off wine and beer. Outdoor seating downstairs is also pleasant (sans the fruit flies attacking my wine).
Whoa – it seems like most of the reviews are brunch-based. I went for dinner with a group of four.
Called and left a message asking for a reservation, and I ended up calling back to confirm the night we were going. I like not speaking to people on the phone, and it wouldn't have mattered because it was pretty empty the entire time we were there.
We had the quesadilla and guacamole and chips to start, and we all enjoyed both. I had the 2-for-1 margaritas, delicious. The poblano chicken was great, and 3/4 of us loved our meals – impressed, good value, decent service.
One little thing: Someone at our table had asked for their burger to be cooked well done and they felt it was undercooked – "raw" is what they said. The lighting is dim, I didn't examine it, so I can't say. When they asked for it to be taken back, the server – who was otherwise lovely – said it wasn't undercooked, it was just the red seasoning. I'm sure the truth was somewhere in the middle, but there's not much point in arguing or correcting a customer about the doneness of meat, in my opinion. More disappointing was that, by the time the burger made it back to the table after being put back on the grill, everyone else had finished eating. The burger orderer also thought the rest of their meal was inappropriately overheated when it was brought back but didn't want to argue/bicker. I mean, who knows, I was happy and I'll definitely be back, but that person won't.
