A really good restaurant in Tribeca that is quiet and relaxing during weekday lunchtime that has opened up a few months ago. I love the ambiance of the place. It is tastefully decorated with wood paneling, antiques and comfortable chairs. The menu is diverse and they have a few daily specials. Today I had the Pan Sauteed Fish of the Day (filet of sole) which came with mashed Potatoes and veggies (asparagus spears and string beans). That entrée was $14 and it came with a salad of field greens. Everything I had was delicious. My friend had the French Toast ($8) and thought it was very good. So now this is my new favorite lunch place until the lunch mob finds out about it. I guess I am doing myself a dis-service by posting it on yelp, but I wouldn't want a place this good to go out of business or skimp on the quality of its food. I'll try to post an update the next time I am there.
