  1. I wanted to like this place, I really had high hopes but nothing was good about my order. The steamed veggies weren't cooked enough-basically semi-raw. The falafel was tasteless and hard. It seems as though they weren't fresh and just re-heated (possibly cooked in the a.m ?) The whole wheat pasta was just sad 🙁     cost=$10.95
To be fair the employee did apologize for the wait to prepare my order although it was only 10 minutes

  2. Great little spot for lunch with healthy food options.

A number of salads and wraps, as well as smoothies and several soups.

I ordered a kale/ spinach smoothie which was fantastic. I get these from another place pretty regularly and this was a little different; I could actually taste the banana – very good.

The employee let me try the kale veggie soup when I was unsure, and while good it was a little salty for my tastes so I went with the lentil soup which was wonderful. The lentils were cooked just right – a little firm / nor overcooked or mushy, and the broth was perfectly salted and flavored.

I ordered for takeout but they also have a handful of small tables for seating; and they deliver with a pretty extensive menu of salads, sandwiches and burgers.

Recommend for a light healthy lunch or snack.

  3. I haven't been inside this restaurant (it looks tiny!) but its great for a seamless lunch fix. I haven't had anything that doesn't make me feel bad about eating. Healthy wraps. Sides of grilled meat. The green lentil soup is delicious.

My favorite wrap is actually the sweet potato. Its a little on the mushier side with potatoes, guacamole, and rice which is perfect when I don't wanna spend too much time chewing. Chewing slows me down! The wrap itself is huge and will last me through a half day as a snack later on in the day. That's just lil old me though, it would probably leave a big guy slightly on the hungry side? The wrap/soup lunch is a great deal!

  4. This place is a rare healthy, somewhat reasonably priced option on the UES.

At the risk of sounding like a fatty, I've only ordered the smoothies and hand cut fries here. Clearly, healthy is not really in my repertoire… But I do enjoy coming here because the service is good and there's a nice family who I think owns it?

The fries are amongst the best in the neighborhood and actually are fresh and hand cut.

I'm also a big fan of the mint ginger smoothie. They do use frozen fruit but at least it's consistently good.

Also the homemade kale chips are the best I've had. Yum!!

  5. This is a really good place that is very conveniently located. The turkey burgers are very good as are the vegetable wraps. The meatball wrap met with my girls stamp of approval.

The prices are good and the delivery is fast. It is nice to have a healthy lunch alternative from time to time.

  6. One of the best healthy dinner spots in the UES. Love their Chipotle Chicken with brown rice & veggies! It taste so good!! I've been trying to get back in shape (prepping for Spartan Race woohoo!) and this place is amazing when it comes to eating healthy delicious meals.

  7. I really wish I could give this place a better review.  Ordered the Duo Plate, the chicken was painfully overcooked and the bison was just a bison burger cubed.  Both proteins were drenched in what tasted like a cheap hot sauce and not a chipotle sauce.  The menu items have potential  if they put a little more effort into their cooking they'll be able to sell a really good product.

  8. Do not get the shrimp.

The rosemary chicken is good and the turkey meatballs are swell.

    But you guys.

Do not order anything with shrimp in it.

I ate it and am now breaking into hives nightly. This has happened to me once before with the tuna at Café D'Alsace. The next 4-5 nights are going to be a nightmare for me.
