  1. It was the restaurant in the hotel we were staying in and we were so tired after a 8 hour flight to NY that we decided to eat there. We ordered Minestrone soup, Caprese Salad, and a burger. They were just ok. But the service was not that good. What made the place fun, was the cute little ladies sitting next to us on their way to South Africa to go on Safari.

Again, maybe it was just that we were tired and maybe had too high of expectations, but it was a hot meal and we did end up taking our wine to the room to finish for the evening. That was a cool perk of eating at the restaurant hotel.

  2. They're part of the Fairfield Inn JFK Airport which is quite different than most Fairfields. They're open for the free breakfast and then open again in the evening as a full service restaurant and bar.
For breakfast, they had a nice selection of hot & cold foods including scrambled eggs, cereals, fruit and waffles. In the evening, they have a full dinner menu of entrees, sandwiches, wraps and appetizers—- all reasonably priced. I had the buffalo wings which were OK. Not much for breaded wings. The sauce was good, a nice subtle spice. Because of the breading and the size of the wings, it was quite filling. The beers are in bottles with a variety shown on the back of the bar. Not much diversity. Service was good.
