  1. Big big beer and food hall in lower manhattan. A great beer selection and fairly common pub menu of burgers and apps. Our server was very nice to our party of six however forgot more than one drink order which got old kind if fast. We still enjoyed ourselves and their many tv's and projectors for the NHL and NBA playoffs.. All in all a reliable spot for after work beverages.

  2. Great $1 oyster happy hour! The east coast puppies were HUGE. just again the service is spotty – our waiter changed without telling us and we got wrong items when the bar was basically Empty. The bar is always super dimly lit too which makes it feel drearier than it is – it's actually a nice bar. Would still come back for the oysters and or a drink.

  3. Decent bar to hang out in Fidi – I'd give it 3.5 stars. It's usually pretty packed and loud, coupled with the darkness you probably have to strain most of your senses for this experience. Beer's not the cheapest, but they have some good drafts. Food is also pretty good for bar food. We usually come here for drinks near my boyfriend's apartment since it's about a minute walk.

  4. Came here with a friend for Thursday night football. I love down here in the financial district, so I walk by everyday and and wanted a new place to try for football and beer.

There isn't any deals really for the beer, so as usual, it's super over priced for what you get. I buy craft beer quite frequently, and they don't have much of a rare selection and most of the stuff you can get for way cheaper at any beer store.

I tried the loaded fries which came with cheese, jalapeños, bacon and ranch dressing. Wasn't impressed by them at all. Just was very flat and lacked real flavor. The game brought in a good amount of people but I doubt I would return to Stout. There are way better places than this bar especially for good craft beer.

  5. Really great burgers. Thick and juicy with a soft bun. Only thing is they are a bit pricy, and cheese costs extra. Great selection of stouts, as the name would suggest. Would return despite the price!

  6. I first experienced Stout out of their Midtown location so when they opened up one closer to work in the financial district I couldn't say no to stopping by for a co-worker's going away party.  The space is HUGE. It is almost cavernous with slick surfaces all around. This causes an echo effect so you will need to stand close to whomever you are talking to.

I really liked that they allowed the party planners to reserve a few tables and decorate with balloons and decorations (some bar will not allow you to do this so make sure to call ahead!). They gave us a dedicated server so our drinks came out quickly. The beer selection is excellent and our waitress was helpful to recommend beers that we might like.

They don't have happy hour, but they have daily specials (bucket of beer night/ craft beer night/ect). I have only ever had their appetizers and my favorite is the potato pancake with apples pie on top. It is delicious and sweet.

One thing: there is a $15 card minimum. If you are there for just 1 drink (about $8) bring cash.

  7. Just another rather ordinary FiDi bar. I liked how spacious it was though. It reminds me a lot of the Trading Post, only more spacious lengthwise and less dark. They have quite a few beers on tap. I tried one of the pale ales and it tasted decent but rather forgettable. They have a myriad of TV's that broadcast a bunch of different sports. They also started trivia at some point during the night (this was on a Tuesday), which was cool.

Seems like an okay hangout spot with colleagues after work but not really somewhere I'd especially go out of the way to come back to.

  8. Spacious and decent sports bar in the Financial District to grab a few drinks, enjoy the bar food, watch a game, or catch up with a buddy.

We thought this was a great spot to grab a few drinks before meeting friends outside of the city.

On New Year's Eve, it was not super pack, but loud enough considering a few games were on.

They have the best Allagash white beer!
My favorite bar food is chicken fingers and fries. Totally loved it here!

As I'd made my way to the facilities, I noticed they have a very nice dinning section. Looks classy!

    Affordable and decent services!
If in FIDI, definitely check it out.
