Really like the atmosphere. I like this place definitely when it's warmer out. I like the open space and outdoor seating. Loved my burger , fries are plentiful and wings were awesome. This is a chill soho place. You will love it here!
Went to grab a quick bite with family and selected it because I felt like it had something for everyone and it thought I would be quick and reasonable. I ordered a cheeseburger with bacon and fries. The burger didn't taste like anything too special and similar to a Whopper. The service was decent but nothing to rave about. There is ample seating, but the prime seating is outdoors. So if you can grab a table out there I would recommend it.
Prominently jutting out in the neighborhood of Prince Street lies Soho Park. Its a very popular burger place right smack in the middle of the luxury clothing stores and boutiques that surround this area of Lower Manhattan. I've already been here several times before, but this will be my first official Yelp review 🙂
What you guys might not know is that besides the famous burgers and fries, they also offer a grilled hot dog. And since I always go against the tide, I decided to have the frankfurter instead.
The frank was the perfect balance of slightly charred with a crisp skin on the outside, to succulent and juicy on the inside.
I also ordered a large side of fried onion rings. They were fried to golden perfection with very generous, big flaky bread crumb crispy skins. Yummm 🙂
I came here for lunch with a co-worker to enjoy the nice weather. It's a nice enough space with open-air access from the doors and partial outdoor/patio-like seating. It's a bit cramped though with all the tables really close to each other. It's a busy spot with most of the clientele stopping in while shopping in SoHo. It's a very casual and busy fast paced place. You order at the cashier, are assigned a license-plate number and find your own seating. Then someone comes out to bring you your food.
I had the turkey and portobello sandwich that came with potato chips. It was OK, very greasy because it was pressed and had cheese that oozed. But it was a large portion of sandwich and chips and decently priced. As a native New Yorker, I'd skip it but it's perfectly fine for tourists in the neighborhood who want a casual bite to eat.
The turkey portobello sandwich on ciabatta is AMAZING!!!! My friend and I went here for a quickie lunch and little did we know that our food would be out in five minutes…. So insanely fast, enjoyable (the outdoor seating is fantastic), fresh, and delicious! Definitely going to come back
Food 3.5// Service 3 // Ambiance 3.5
Stopped by with a friend while looking for a burger place on a Wednesday evening. Soho Park was the only place without a wait so we went on in. When I got the menu I was so surprised by the prices — a veggie burger at a cutesy, sit-down place in Soho for only $8.50???? A great surprise! I ordered the veggie burger and split a basket of zucchini fries with my fries. The veggie burger was delightful and super filling! The patty was definitely made fresh and I could taste some edamame in it. The zucchini fries were very good as well — not soggy or oily tasting, but definitely fried. The sauces served with the fries (a curry one and some kind of mustard) were very good! The mustard at the table (dijon I believe) was very good with the veggie burger as well. We were originally seated by the bathrooms and then requested a seat change (which the waitress was hesitant to do as each waiter has a section, but she later moved us to her area in the patio). The patio was a great location but the table we were at was wobbly. It was weird that the water is served in a plastic cup even though we were dining in.
Service was good but a tad less formal as other places — our waitress was super casual but very sweet. The ambiance was cute ; lots of exposed brick, green ivy and patio string lights.
Good atmosphere and good food. There are definitely better places but I was pleased with the veggie burger and would recommend this place for an affordable sit down !
Favorite place to grab a bite to eat in between shopping in Soho. Definitely recommend going in the spring/summer when you can eat outside. The chopped salads are delicious as are the fries. Have a glass of wine, too. The service is pretty quick – you order at the counter and then they bring it over to your table (you seat yourself). Super affordable for Soho, too. Only thing – the bathroom is kind of grimey but other than that this spot is my jam.
While out and about in NYC this past weekend, we became famished and were on a hunt for some foods. Although there were tons of places, we just couldn't decide what we wanted exactly. Low and behold Soho Park pops in our view. So we hop in and realize that you should probably grab a table before they are all snatched up while one of you goes and orders your food! So that is exactly what we did. We both decided to get the caesar salad with chicken and I had to get a small order of fries ( I mean why not), along with two glasses of white wine. The menu has just about anything you could want from salads to hot dogs to vegan sandwiches to burgers. You get a little license plate that is folded in half with a number on it so that the servers know where to find you once your order is ready. The food came out very quickly which was a huge plus considering how busy they were. I must admit that it was one of the best chicken caesar salads I have had in very long time. The chicken was nice and hot and it was not only on top of the salad but at the bottom as well so that when you mixed it all in, you would have chicken throughout your entire salad. The sauce came on the side which I loved because sometimes you don't want a lot of sauce on your salad. Oh and the fries! MY goodness. I ordered a small fry and it was still huge and they were piping hot and very crispy. A huge win in my book. I washed my down with glass of riesling and my bf washed his down with a glass of pinot. We were both quite happy with our meal, plus we had some great people watching. I definitely call that a win in my book!
