  1. Over priced and terrible service.

They didn't know what some of the menu items were.

    I just cant do it.

  2. Seriously, boo.  I've been to this place three times and the service is always terrible.  You're in a windowless restaurant on an upper floor of Lord & Taylor.  I LOVE shopping at Lord and Taylor. I would give give this restaurant 1 star if it was anywhere else but at least this place provides me with convenience when I'm spending my entire Saturday snapping up trendy bargains at my favorite department store.
It is convenient to have somewhere to eat on what is normally a pretty dull strip of Fifth Avenue.  However, the prices at Sarabeths are hard to swallow even when you're at the lovely Central Park South location, so of course I take issue with the same prices in this amazingly depressing location. Even when the restaurant is nearly empty, I still have difficulty finding a hostess to seat me and a waitress to take my order, refill my coffee, and bring me the check.  If you insist on getting brunch here, order the lemon ricotta pancakes.  They are so light and fluffy and have just a hint of lemon and are my favorite dish on the menu at any Sarabeth's location.

  3. Just visited for the first time the other day and had a very pleasant experience. The restaurant was moderately crowded but we were still seated rather quickly and the wait staff was always attentive and available. Ordered from their weekly specials menu the tea sandwich trio: came with half of a chicken salad wrap, a small buttery scone with tuna salad, a small buttery raisin scone with a strawberry cream filling, and it also had a refreshing mesculin salad on the side as well, all delicious. My guest ordered the florentine omlette that came with a croissant and preserves, she also said it was very good.

It's on the 5th floor now, nothing notable to speak of really for the decor, just clean and our table was a bit wobbly…I wouldn't come here for a weekend brunch but during the week it's a reasonable spot. The prices are very good too.

  4. Not nearly enough seating but convenient for an Americano break.
