“Anything involving pork belly is a win, and $1 oyster happy hour will keep me coming back.”

“I've tried both the 'Floozy', which tastes like fresh strawberries and the 'Flip the Frog', more of a gin/cucumber concoction.”

“They even have a small lounge area in back with a few couches if you'd like to just come by for a drink and take it all in.”

  1. I went here for a friend's surprise birthday party on Saturday night. Minus one star for the size- I tend to prefer places with a little more room to move around, especially when they are playing such dope music to dance to.

Our waitress was really friendly- in a very genuine way which is rare to find in the service industry (tbh I don't really care as long as I'm treated nicely but it's a special treat when they're actually pretty cool and genuine about it)

All of the cocktails were creative and perfectly mixed.

I had a few bites of my boyfriend's Reuben burger and holy shit I wish I wasn't on a diet bc that was insanely delicious.

The DJ was fantastic and we were all especially excited to hear a variety of Prince tunes (RIP) and also plenty of Beyonce, including one of her tracks off of LEMONADE (it was Sorry, fyi).

    A+ spot.

  2. Ran into this place while bar hopping in LES with friends the other night. Was a Tuesday so things were pretty calm. Their decor is pretty spectacular. Great vintage vibe. In the back they have this lounge where they were having burlesque performers. There were not too many people but there was still a rowdy hilarious energy. I didn't expect the girls to totally strip down for their performances! Very cheeky outfits with lots of sparkly pasties and glittery thongs. Drinks were pretty good, 8 bucks for a cocktail. Will have to come back during weekend to see how things roll out.

  3. Come here on Monday nights when it's happy hour all night! Otherwise happy hour ends at 8 on other nights. The ambience of this place is very chill. You seat yourself wherever you want as long as the table is not reserved. They also have a whole bunch of board games to play and large floor size jenga. Fun place to play and drink with friends. On to the food. Get the spinach artichoke dip. The h&d burger was your standard burger and the fried chicken sandwich was pretty good. The only thing I don't like is that all the burgers and sandwiches come on Thomas English muffins instead of buns.

  4. This place is overrated. The best thing about this HH is the $1 oysters and cheese nachos. By the way, there's a limit of 2 dozen oysters per table for HH (wtf, right?). Some of the drinks had a weird combination, I can't remember the name. The Daisy drink was really cute and good if you're a cocktail person. Don't get the fries! It's stale and bland, maybe cooked too many times. Anyways, I'll going somewhere else for HH.

  5. Came here randomly per a friend's recommendation with a party of about 16. When we arrived, they immediately brought us to the very back where all the sofas were. I was quite surprised by how cozy this bar was.

We had some drinks with us that we had gotten from a free distribution outside that we didn't open nor drink, but one of the staff came over and stated that no outside drinks were allowed at all. So basically, you have to put them away in your bag or something.

We ordered tequila shots, and according to a friend it was very smooth. The Pinot Grigio and Rose was great as well. Since we were hungry, we had ordered the fries, nachos, and spinach and artichoke dip, which were all delicious! I didn't expect bar food to be this good, but it really was!

  6. This place feels like you've stepped back in time to the 1960's. Reminded me of my grandmothers place–in the BEST way possible.

My friend and I were out and about in the LES area looking to grab drinks before going out with our friends. It was pretty crowded, especially in the back bar area, but we managed to snag a booth.

The atmosphere of this place was top notch. There was an awesome vintage radio collection and cool dated lighting. They had both cocktails and eats, so I can't wait to go back for a meal. We ended up not staying too long, since we had to meet up with our friends, but I'll definitely be back.

  7. cool brunch, very different, coming in on mdw, so it was pretty much empty and settling in the back, taking over the couches.

really chill service, they disappear for a while then pop back up with two carafes of mimosas, which they hand out generously, probably because the margins aren't as thin as the bloodys, where carafes and glasses are only refilled on request.

the bloodys are, spicy. its rimmed with jalapeno powder. its peppery inside. they give you a side of sweet pickles and banana peppers. and yes, its a better than most bloodys you get at boozy brunch. its cheap booze but they try to distract from it.

the chicken and biscuits was forgettable. i didnt really eat the biscuit at all. the chicken wasnt flavorful and the gravy was a snoozer. i shouldnt order food like this in new york. after having the real deal in arkansas, my standards have changed. so lets just say its my fault, i was boozy,  they didnt serve the food until about an hour and a half in.

all that being said, we had a lot of fun. it was a crowd pleaser, the food was all-around lapped up and everyone left drunk.

  8. AMAAZING.  I hosted a party here and it was so easy to get everything planned out.  The appetizers they offered were all so delicious that they kept disappearing.  My favorite was the spinach croquettes.  The Mac and cheese balls, pigs in blankets were also crowd favorites.  I LOVE the floozy drink as well.  The vibes here were perfect for my event, and everyone had a brilliant time!  The only thing was that we booked the booths that were really hard to sit and come back out to stand around.  The weird hallway we kept getting into people's ways, but it was so fun! I would definitely recommend here if you're planning to throw a gettogether for your friends/family.  Awesome food and drinks!
