service-terrible

takeout-terrible
however, if you are here ask for server named juan. he takes care of me all the time when others in their fancy button ups are complete assholes.
This location is usually packed but for once I actually have to give this place 5 stars and here's why
PROS
-this time there were no wait lines (I went between 1pm-2pm)
-our waiter was quick and was sincere about serving my brother and I
-we completely ordered things off from the menu and ihop allowed us to order. (We had chicken&french toast!)
– everything we ordered came out to under 20 bucks ^_^
No cons here I was satisfied from start to finish
High Five to a great server, his name is Shane (saw it on the name tag.) He was always smiling, checking on our table, refilling our cups and making us feel like home.
This location is particularly small, but I always go there when visiting my mom uptown. The wait on weekends is long, but during night time is pretty smooth. The food is good and you know you will never go wrong when having pancakes at the International Pancake House!
I don't usually give reviews on chain restaurants since they are already have a reputation, but the staff at this location is all heart.
Besides pancakes, I recommend the chicken Florentine crepes, and the grilled cheese sandwich plus more pancakes and a lot of syrup! Hahah
It's been ages since I've been to a IHOP which I was working up an appetite after sleeping late on my one day off after working a long haul exhausting, stressful agita week. A good friend (who unearthed his overly obssesed womanizing needs) offered to spend a lazy Sunday with him which I obliged to IHOP for brunch.
Our waitress has a sacrastic yet disgruntled personality of serving. The ham, egg, and cheese melt sandwich is to kill for, yet plentiful. It briefly brought a smile to comfort shedding light off my darkness of deep despair. The hot chocolate with whip cream warms the heart as it was the day after the Northeast massive blizzard snow storm (December 19th, 2009) of approx. two feet.
This International House of Pancakes diner is very kid friendly yet very dated decor to the early 1980's era.
Mehh, it's IHOP.
I don't know what people go in here expecting besides cheap food, yummy alcohol-free drink mixes, and syrup flavors drowning in food coloring.
It was nearly empty on a Sunday night so service and food were quick. Their mozzarella sticks, as always, were delicious. Honestly, I prefer IHOP's mozzarella sticks over their pancakes. My chicken sandwich was slightly bland, but wasn't anything that couldn't be helped with pepper and ketchup.
It's a cleaner location than the one in Pelham.
Brotip: Don't seriously expect that there won't be a wait on a weekend morning. Go when the flocks won't.
For the first time in my life, Ihop has not delivered a good experience.
When i walked in another family that just walked in before us was seated and then i was seated. As i walked to my seat i noticed ok its not packed and everyone has their food so this should be quick.
The waitress came to my table within minutes and took my order and gave me my drink.
i was in a conversation so i never noticed how long i was waiting. I saw them bring the food for the family that came in prior to me but thats around the time I noticed wait where is my food. So i waited and waited and waited not once seeing my waitress.
I got up spoke to the manager who had put the im shocked face on then he looked at the food counter and said there goes your food but by then they could go to hell. It should be no reason why a person has to wait 40 minutes for a simple pancake meal.
The staff was very helpful and attentive.
Great pancakes.
I dig it.
