  1. Nice place to watch a soccer game. There are TVs on each side. The TVs are not double deckers a like in other places but because the place doesn't get too crowded, it's easy to see from anywhere.
I went there for the women's World Cup finals. It was the US vs. Japan and the Us won. A lot of other bars in the area were either empty or had no standing room. This place had enough fans to make noise and be exciting but still had open tables.
Food: we got the potato chips appetizer. It's just like nachos but with potato chips instead of corn. I liked them a lot although would probably add more toppings.
Alcohol – I had a Stella cider because it was the only cider they had on hand. There were at least 5 of them of the menu but there were no options at the bar. I follow a gluten free diet and wished there were more choices.
The waitress was lovely. She kept stopping by to see of we needed anything… Sometimes during goals or parts of the game that should not be interrupted, but it was all good… The concept of soccer fans may be new to the area.
There was also a pool table in the space.

  2. Although this place is on the pricier side of Hoboken bars, their happy hour deals aren't half bad. It was a nice catch-up with a friend place, a not so crazy happy hour spot. It seemed like there were more professionals there, late 20s to 30s, unlike some of the other Hoboken happy hour bars, which can be more "fratty." Picture a few men in suits playing pool with a beer in hand, and a few tables with small groups of friends catching up over drinks, rather than having to push and shove your way to the packed bar packed.

The drinks were tasty – I'd recommend the blueberry lemonade. It was sweet but not grossly so – it had a more refreshing taste. It wasn't strong at all though. As for the food, there aren't many entree options, more apps, snacks, salads, sandwiches and such. We got the chicken lettuce wraps. The dish wasn't what we expected. Rather than the chicken already coming inside the lettuce, it turned out to be a plate of chopped, seasoned chicken (and a little bit of veggies) over some rice noodles with a wedge of lettuce on the side. We didn't realized we'd have to scoop the chicken/noodle filling into the lettuce yourself. The food was alright, a bit on the dry side. I guess that's what we get for trying to be healthy at a bar. I'd say maybe try the more typical bar food here – you can't go wrong with that, right?

I really liked our server – super chill. She was casual (sneakers and workout gear kind of casual) but still very attentive and friendly. Was very pleased with her service. She was quick and efficient, but also patient, and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Although I thought the happy hour ended at 8pm, she informed us that it was until the kitchen closed 🙂

  3. Came here on Halloween. never have even heard of this place before than but it was on the bar crawl list, and if i never heard of it i assumed there would be no line (as most were down the block). Of course as we rolled in there was no line so we walked right in, watched the Mets lose. Left and went to Green Rock across the street immediately. Really boring bar. Nothing special about this place at all, no music, no dance floor. Its a snooze fest

  4. Perfect location since right near path – food was delicious! Went for happy hour and particular appy's were only $5!  We got penne vodka and grilled cheese with bacon and tomato – both were sooo good!  I never saw penne vodka as an appy so I was very excited!  As an entrée I had shrimp over linguini in a lemon butter sauce – it was ok…wasn't the best I ever had and wasn't the worst – I mean I suppose that is what you get for getting a spaghetti dish at a bar.  Ambiance was nice – definitely fun place to watch basketball games – staff were very friendly and attentive

  5. This is a great little bar in Hoboken if you're in the mood for somewhere chill and maybe a game of pool. We were there around 1pm on a Saturday and they were servings BOGO mimosas which is actually what I was in the neighborhood for. Nothing special about the mimosas, they had typical cheap champagne and OJ, as well as a peach purée and some patrons were having their champagne with a splash of grenadine. I wish they had more games because I was a little jealous of the guys that were using the one pool table the whole time we were there, but we had a fun time nonetheless!

  6. Hotel Victor  is a nice little bar, much quieter than neighboring Green Rock and Texas Arizona. Not too many drafts, and I didn't really notice anything craft.

The happy hour specials were pretty good, with $5 appetizers, specifically the nachos and grilled cheese. The service was quick and friendly, especially for having only 2 waitresses.

I wouldn't mind coming back for a beer.

  7. Pure convenience brought us here.. There's several bars right outside the PATH, this being one of them.
We came in at around noon and we were unsurprisingly one of only 5 patrons. The bar has a pool table but otherwise, it's a pretty standard bar. We ordered the chicken panini and classic salad with grilled chicken. Nothing to sing about. The chicken was soft but a bit too chewy, and everything seemed clean and well prepared. But the blood Mary??? Wooooweeeee, THAT was bloody awesome.
I just can't give over 3 stars for a standard, mediocre bar in Hoboken.

  8. Met some friends here to watch March Madness. College basketball sucks but one of my friends is a Miami alum, apparently this is a Miami bar and Miami was playing so this is where we went.

Beer pitcher specials were friggin cheap. I just drank; didn't get any food. But I must have had like 6 beers out of big plastic cups and it probably cost the same as if I bought a 6 pack.

It wasn't too crazy busy and the wait staff were really attentive. Not the greatest beer selection but they do have some craft beers.
