“They came around and gave us free samples of custard, which was nice and will bring me back for an ice cream sundae in the future.”

“To start with, Brianne, who was working the register, could not have been more pleasant.”

“For the very reasonable price I paid for that meal and the service, I can truly say that this place could give shake shack a run for its money.”

  1. I was very disappointed with this place.  I expected better….not even close to Shake Shack.  Why a 1 star?  Because my belly was not happy.  Here's the following I disliked:

    1.  I ordered the Burger-Fi….first one on the menu….it was my bad that I assumed it was a single burger.  I know that was my fault, but after reviewing all the specialty burgers they were all pretty much DOUBLE patties….I had to build my own if I wanted a single patty.  This annoyed me.  I wasn't even satisfied with it.  They brand the bread with their name on it….big deal.

    2.  Got half onion rings and fries….you have different toppings to choose from for fries so we picked the parmesan….it was ehhh….BUT them onion rings…OMG the onions were so thick, greasy, and just too big….so not edible.  I saw a customer and she didnt even touch it and just stared at them like what the heck were they thinking.

    3. It's a Saturday at 130p and the soda machine flavors was ridiculous….half of the flavors were unavailable.

    4. They forgot the apple sauce for the kids…said "you have your receipt" I'm like really….I was sitting in front of the counter….that annoyed me.

    5.  The ceiling fan was a bit strong, thought they could of turned that down a notch.

So would I come here again?  No, I'd rather have gone to Burger King for half the price and enjoy a whopper instead.

  2. Seems like your run of the milll burger chain. Priced too high, as a burger, fries, and drink will run you over $15 (although they seem to be running promos) Menu items are kind of limited too, but there is a build your burger option. I opted for the cheeseburger green style (lettuce instead of bun), and while it tasted decent, was on the small side.

  3. Being the burger connoisseur I am, I've had Burger-Fi on my list to visit since it opened. Being at the Heroes and Villains Fanfest this past weekend at the Meadowlands Expo next door gave me and the family the perfect opportunity to stop by.

Okay, let's just say I was pretty disappointed here. I ordered the CEO and it was okay, even though the bun was a bit soggy and falling apart, it was still a pretty tasty patty (well patties, since it came with 2). I was a bit annoyed by the fact that I asked for medium rare and it came out medium well, closer to well…

On the side, my wife and I ordered the Cry + Fry (fries and onion rings) with parmesan and herb topping.  Both were under cooked, just not really crispy at all.  The onion in the rings themselves were way too thick so they didn't even cook all the way through (look at my picture – the onions inside were 2-3 centimeters thick!).  Basically felt like I was eating a breaded almost raw onion.

Another issue was the drink options at the fountains were limited since quite a few of the options that we wanted were unavailable.  The only way these new self service fountains work is if you make sure all the options are full, otherwise you have customers searching through every screen to find a drink that they want.

What ended up dropping the review from 2 to 1 stars was the overall cleanliness of the location.  I took my child to the bathroom and had to be careful that he didn't touch anything since you can tell there was urine everywhere near the toilet and should have been cleaned.  The tables we had to clean ourselves (we tried sitting at 3 tables before cleaning the last one on our end).
