I ate here yesterday with my family for dinner. I loved the décor inside & I appreciated the parking lot surrounding the restaurant (although limited, certainly helpful on a busy street such as Central Park Ave). Prices was affordable & food was all delicious. Thai Mango Chicken, Crab Ragu, Chicken & Broccoli, Pork Fried Rice, Sweet Fruit Rolls, California Rolls, & Shrimp Tempura to name a few. I loved the food presentation as it looked like they took time putting the food on their plate. My only complaint is the service could be slightly more friendlier. The people inside the restaurant were not rude per say but gave us a bland attitude & also made it seem like they were rushing to get our orders in even though we were the only table in the restaurant. Oh & be warned, food portions are HUGE. Their is no formal kids menu so keep that in mind when bringing them. Most of the entrees can be shared by two kids, even three. Otherwise I'll definitely be back.
I came here with my fiance and my friend a few nights ago. the other reviewers are right. The outside looks like a storefront for some sketchy business but it all changes once you go inside. It's elegant, sparkly, and quite beautiful. We were seated at a very comfortable booth. I could've stayed there all night. I ordered the Indonesian Sambal. My fiance ordered the lo mein. My friend ordered the sushi combo platter. Love the diversity of the Asian dishes we ordered. I LOVED my dish. Granted, this is the first time I was having anything Indonesian (as far as I recall), but I really enjoyed eating my food. I didn't try the lo mein, mainly because I'm not a fan of lo mein in general but I did try the eel roll from my friend's plate. It was good! Flavored well! Even though I was so thoroughly stuffed, I couldn't help but order a guilty pleasure of mine at Asian restaurants – green tea ice cream. Honestly though, I was a bit disappointed by it but it wasn't terrible.
The service was excellent. Polite, patient, and efficient. We stayed back for a long time after paying and they never indicated their desire to kick us out.
I typically avoid Asian Fusion only because I feel like they tend to do too many cuisines at once and it doesn't normally translate well. But Tasty House definitely defied that. I would positively come back!
