one dish and ill go with four stars, but im not completely sold folks.
high end chinese fusion with many different options, so I cant state they specialize in anything in particular, but they had something for me, sesame chicken served as white meat. something about dark meat chicken skeeves me so happy to see them offering this off the bat.
you know, it was good but by the end of my meal the cubes of chicken started to show their abuse in the kitchen, fried too long or left on the wok too long, but i was full by then anyway so I didnt mind losing out.
for the area ($$$$$$!!!!!) i didnt pay an arm and leg, but i could likely see your bill get out of hand as with any high end westchester dig.
I have been here twice in the past half-year and I am def. a fan. I love Asian fusion restaurants like this that combine Japanese, Thai, and Cantonese..only problem is figuring out what to get since I love everything. Extensive menu, well-executed food, with somewhat harried, overworked service, which is where I take a star away. Appetizer portions are smaller than I would like but are very creative for a local establishment.
First and foremost, I highly recommend the Mind Eraser roll. It was the highlight of the meal for me as it was spicy yet refreshing. I came here on a Friday night and service was pleasant and quick, even though the restaurant was somewhat full. My girlfriend and I had dumplings as an appetizer and then shared the pad thai and Asian Grilled Chicken with bok choi. I thought that the pad thai was on par with most other offers, nothing spectacular but still very good. The chicken was excellent, and although I'm not a huge fan of bok choi, i thought everything worked well together.
The restaurant itself is very nice and a good option for a date. The prices are very reasonable, especially when taking the quality of the food into account.
Quick tip, Wild Ginger has an app available and if you download it, you can get a free appetizer and other offers as well.
