I'm a pretty big sushi snob. But there's no reason to drop $80 at Sushi Yasuda when you have a place like this.
You can pretty much divide sushi restaurants into two categories. Can I taste the fish? or am I tasting too much fish? Their rolls (particularly the spicy tuna and SSE) are very flavorful, and surpass even my favorite sushi restaurant, Isono.
It was about $35 including tip for a filling dinner for two. If you're in the neighborhood, it's definitely worth a try.
Usually I go to the deli accross the street during my lunch hour from work. There are not many places to eat in Roslyn / Port Washington Area that are worth Writing a review about but this place is really good.
I get the lunch special lunch box for only 10 bucks. It includes alot of variety such as soup, salad, rice, daily roll, shumai and different entree`'s.
The shushi tasted as it should and was fresh, the Chicken tariyaki had lean strips of chicken marinated in tariyaki sauce with steamed brocoli, carrots, and snowpeas in shell. It was fullfilling .
For the price you get what you paid for, a good meal for a low price.
A nice average sushi restaurant in the middle of Roslyn's dining district. Restaurant is cozy (which is to say it's small) so seating can be at a premium during busy times.
Food is decent if not unremarkable. Prices are fair for the area and service was polite and prompt. Not a bad choice.
