Don't judge a book by its cover. This place was an in-expected surprise! The store front looks a bit basic, and almost run down. Once inside you will be treated by a clean, up to date, fun atmosphere.
The staff is very friendly. It wasn't busy at all when me and my girlfriend went for lunch, which is also normally a red flag. But this place was great!
Sushi was stellar. Defiantly the second best in town which is a huge achievement when you consider that there are so many sushi options in town. The competition is very high.
Also they have a yelp coupon for checking in! I got free wine with an entree. They lady was very nice about it, and gave us the wine even though the sushi specials are not entrees. Very classy ! Made me very happy.
Staff was friendly and welcoming.
Sushi was fantastic with a great ration of fish to rice. Me and my girlfriend always prefer a lot of fish to rice lol.
I remember a time when this place was dirty and I wouldn't consider going, but THINGS HAVE CHANGED. The place is EXTREMELY clean, they have GREAT deals and this has become our go-to Chinese restaurant spot. Delivery can be VERY slow sometimes if you order delivery, but overall, food is extremely fresh (when I ask for white meat only, I get WHITE MEAT only) and service is good enough. In the restaurant itself, the service is fantastic and the waiters are so nice, patient and gracious. If you've been in the past and stopped going, I'd recommend giving this place another try.
As one drives down Main St., several Asian cuisines line the road, with this being closer to the movie theater.
As you walk-in, you are surrounded by the aroma of good food and an aquarium with the traditional Koi or very large gold fish(?). Also, in front is the Sushi chef.
The staff is semi-friendly, but their food is amazing and they are willing to change and cater to the customer's wishes.
My favorite dish here is the Shredded Beef w. Hot chili. It is one of the most amazing pure protein dishes i crave as i ask for minimal oil in it…!
Also worth trying is the Baby Shrimp w. Hot Pepper Sauce and the General Tso's double delight (chicken & shrimp)
VEGETARIANS OF LONG ISLAND:
This place is cheap and good.
GREAT vegetarian selection that you can actually trust.
Lunch menu is super duper cheap and the service is relatively quick.
The veggie food actually tastes kinda like the real deal….or the best you'll get as a non-carnivore, anyway.
When visiting Long Island this is the first place I always choose for dinner.
Being a big sushi fan, this place was great. First of all, the restaurant was really nice. There was a cool fish tank, cool theme and super clean. Staff was most helpful.
We ordered the lunch special and had three sushi rolls for $11. This included salad and miso soup. The miso soup was excellent and the salad had real greens with fresh lettuce, not just iceberg.
The rolls were served beautifully and were really filled. The spicy salmon and spicy tuna had a great kick and the salmon avocado roll was also excellent.
From the decor to the food, this restaurant is one of my favorites. I can't wait to come back and try a variety of things from their extensive menu.
