I stopped by this place as I was in town for the Staten Island Half Marathon & my airbnb host told me about it. I actually felt kind of nostalgic walking in…. I grew up in one of the smallest towns in PA, & the down-to-Earth & friendly vibe I got from this place was a nice treat compared to the usual go-go-go of a NYC cafe. I had the veggie sandwich & it was worth its title – Top 20 in Staten Island? Something like that? Whatever it was, it was well deserved, but I'm giving it 4 stars just because it was a little too much bread for my liking. I also had the peanut butter ice cream, because I was about to run 13.1 miles, dangit! 😉 Also very good & extremely generous in portion for just a small. Thanks, Bay Sweet Cafe!
