  1. I honestly feel very bad giving this place a negative review especially in my own neighborhood but hopefully, they will take my feedback into consideration.

I was quite happy to see this place pop up. This means more breakfast choices for the locals. It is good that it is fairly inexpensive and readily available when the food carts are not there.

I ordered Fried Pork Dumplings because I really, really craving it after hours of studying at a cafe. Big mistake on my part. First off, the keyword is 'fried' pork dumplings. It was not crispy at all and it was moist. The minced pork meat was really dry and had a tough texture. One good note is that they are pretty meaty and big but still, not good at all.

I also had their congee and noodle soups before because my family bought them home. I was not impressed at all. They have no flavor what so ever.

I will continue to go to my food carts and Shun Wang for my congee.

    Sorry, not sorry.

  2. This restaurant has a variety of Asian "Breakfast" snacks such as porridge, fried dough sticks, steamed buns, fried buns and rice noodles. These cheap snacks range from $1.00 to $3 bucks. Also available are some noodle soups with toppings such as fish balls, wontons, shrimp, pork chops, etc..

The shop has a small area for in-store dining but is mostly a grab and go type of restaurant. This is the type of food that you will normally get with a street vendor.

Since they are a small shop, they tend to run out of options towards the end of the day. Arrive earlier if you want to make sure you get what you want !
