  1. Came to Horchata with two of my friends for their bottomless brunch special. The food was excellent, the brunch came with chips and guac as an appetizer, which was delicious, and the chicken quesadillas I got for my main dish were fabulous as well. The drinks on the other hand–which I consider a main incentive for boozy brunching–were good but pretty weak (I got the sangria). Our waiter also tried to push us out before our two hours were up (we got seated about twenty minutes past our reservation time) and gave us attitude when we brought it up to him.

I will say, this place seems to accommodate larger groups quite well. There was one party celebrating a birthday and they seemed to have a very energetic, attentive waiter and were treated with a round of shots. On top of that, the ambiance is very lively with a "party-like" vibe.

  2. Wowza — what a brunch! I love love loooove the ambiance of this restaurant. We came in for a simple brunch (not a boozy one) at opening on a Saturday and found it refreshing  to walk into such a well-decorated, popping place with amazing music and a party-like, yet intimate, atmosphere. We did not make a reservation and were able to eat at the bar. The bartender rubbed us the wrong way at first because he was a bit of a grumps (he blamed it on not having his coffee yet) but a few minutes later he was better (although he did give me a knife that had a bit of schmutz on it — which I asked him to change out). Throughout the duration of the warmed up and was accommodating.

We had the huevos rancheros, a quinoa burrito,  breakfast quesadilla and the horchata with espresso. All of the dishes had great flavors and were very filling. I had no complaints about the food at all and was satisfied with it.

Overall, I would definitely come back for a boozy brunch and stop by for their happy hours!  The ambiance is the main selling point and it does not hurt that the food is good as well. The service could be better but it is definitely worth a try!

  3. I'll give this to them, their inside was super cute with all the hanging lights, the table set-up – it was all really neat!  I only have two things to say..

THEIR FOOD WAS DISGUSTING, each and every thing that I ordered, INCLUDING my friends food AND THEIR DRINKS WERE INCREDIBLY EXPENSIVE.  Sorry, your interiors not that great to have me stick around

  4. What a great place! Had an awesome time here for brunch with 2 girlfriends over Valentine's Day weekend. Environment was lively and they played really good music. Definitely make a reservation. The place was packed and it is pretty small.

For brunch we got the $30 deal which includes chips and guac, an entrée and unlimited drinks (sangria, mimosa…and I forgot the last one) for 2hrs . I had the red and white sangria and they were simply delicious!!! Actually, everything we had was really yummy.

    I will definitely be back.

  5. CHIPPPPPPSSSSSSSSS. The chips and guacamole here are really good. Must try.

The service was also so great. They were very attentive, so friendly and nice. It was my birthday and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate and celebrate with me.

The Bloody Mary was not good. I'm not too picky about bloodies, but It had a funky taste. I suspiciously also threw it up later. Not quite sure I'll be back.

I would come back here for dinner. I was t crazy about the brunch menu.

  6. You have to go here for Boozy Brunch!

Food is good, servers are funny, attentive, and seem to enjoy their jobs

  7. Came here for a last minute birthday dinner on a Saturday night. They were gracious enough when I called to let us know what time they could sit a party of 14, so we didn't have to wait at all when we got there. The restaurant has a trendy low-key ambiance that we all enjoyed. The food was good but different from many Mexican restaurants in that it was missing some key staples like chicken tacos or fajitas. We started out with some guacamole (so-so) and some queso (pretty good). I got the chorizo quesadillas which were good but nothing special. All in all we all enjoyed our meal, even though we all agreed it was a little on the pricey side.

  8. This place was such a fab time!!!  I loved the party atmosphere, intimate environment, drinks, food, and top-notch service.  Probably the best brunch venue that I have been to this year (which says a lot considering I'm brunchin' and munchin' every weekend).

Place was packed but we were seated only a few minutes after arriving.  The bottomless sangria and mimosas were strong and definitely got our party started.  I loved that they kept the guac and chips coming (although I thought the guac was lacking salt and lemon – not the best nor worse guac I've tried).

I had a decent portion of the breakfast quesadillas I ordered (filled with eggs and chorizo), and after the two rounds of shots we ordered, they allowed us to get complimentary shots.  Also, after our table was cleared they even allowed us to get a complimentary drink at the bar if we bought back our glasses.

Basically decent brunch food and the best service ever really puts this place at the top of my list for a birthday brunch.  Richard and John were amazing!  Very entertaining, funny, and I loved that they took tons of group snapchat pictures for us (4th or 5th tries to get right).  I would come again if I'm in the brunch party zone!
