“It is scrambled eggs with cream cheese and chives and bacon all on an English muffin with home fries in the side.”
“Omlets are amazing, Gingerbread pancakes are yummy, service is great!”

Adorable neighborhood breakfast joint. The charm is evident in everything they do and the functional glass shop selling curios in the back just adds to the kooky charm.
I have zero complaints.
It's like being in your grandmothers house. They squeeze the oranges on an old fashioned juicer, have vinyl cushions and dated wallpaper. An old coke machine rounds it out.
The waitresses are warm and attentive. The coffee is delicious and the pancakes are fluffy and cooked perfectly.
We weren't rushed and the food was well priced and filling.
Definitely going again. It's hidden in a neighborhood off the downtown, don't miss it!!!
First time here with a friend for breakfast. Was in the area and saw great reviews, so we stopped in. We had a very delicious breakfast. I had the potato omelet and my friend had the western. Fresh food and service was good. Charming "vintage" place. Very enjoyable, worth the try.
This place is adorable! A great little spot that Yelp led me to. I hope to return the favor.
Tucked away off the main road my GPS had me driving by houses and thinking I'm lost, then on the corner is a cute little house with Zoe's sign. It feels homey and inviting.
They close at 230, so I made it with half an hour to spare. But instead of being rushed I was greeted by each staff member with a smile. My waitress brought me the menu and hand written page of specials. No pretense here, just good fresh food! My diet coke came in a little mason jar, she cut the lemon right before brining it over.
I ordered a BLAT wrap (the A is avocado) which came with potato salad AND fresh soup. I asked the waitress what soup she liked and I ended up with Portuguese bean soup. I was not disappointed! The soap was amazingly flavorful, not spicy or overpowering just really rich and filling. The wrap was a standard size, maybe a little small by my big boy standard, but it was delicious. Everything tastes fresh, not a hint of storage or pushing aging food. Really great meal.
Service was prompt and kind, smiles were plentiful and she was always there wen I needed her, but not hovering.
Zoe's is a bit far from home for me which is a bummer, if it was closer to where I live I would certainly be a regular. If you live near by make it a habit to stop in. If you're just passing through do yourself the favor of tasting Zoe's food.
I love this place for many reasons. This is a quaint, homey, and inviting atmosphere reminiscent of a small town cafe. Off the main drag of Atlantic Highlands that feeling of small community warmth is really charming and appealing to me.
There is a coolness and vintage feel from the antiques and cool miniature food item knick knacks to the crazy vintage tables and chairs. This place just works!
Service with a smile and a fast cup of excellent coffee. Plenty of time to make my decisions and a little help from the friendly waitress. The day after Thanksgiving I wasn't expecting them to be open so when I found that they didn't have the ingredients for the red white and blue pancakes I went for the Big Mess scrambled eggs that has home fries mushrooms bacon and cheese, no worries just ask and they substituted ham for bacon and it was fabulous. I even had them add some blue cheese into of the cheddar too. I asked for crispy wheat toast and that's what I got. Spot on! There was no loss of a star here. The place is a 9 out of 10. Although they fresh squeezed there OJ they do not scratch make everything. There is no shame in this in fact I plan to return here often and introduce friends to the really terrific place.
I can't wait to try lunch here.
I can't believe how many times I've gone there for breakfast or lunch and I never checked in or wrote a review. Let me remedy this error.
These past few weeks, hubby and I have gone to several places to eat. Zoey's was the most satisfying. Both the food and the service was excellent. We've always loved their comfortable vibe. It's like going to your grandma's house for breakfast, lunch or brunch. They're only opened until 2:30 pm. Lunch time starts at 11:30 am. We were originally going there for the vegetarian burgers. These are definitely not the kind that comes from a box or bag. These as well as everything made there is made fresh. The veggie burgers take a while so order some coffee and wait. It's totally worth it.
Today at the last minute we ordered something different. I ordered the ham and Brie French toast. This is the first time I ever had French toast that wasn't soggy. They used three slices of Texas toast along with at least 3 oz of ham with Brie wedges melted in. It's so huge! Had to split it in half. My husband ordered the Red, white and blue pancakes. That was also delicious. They had banana (my favorite), blueberry & strawberry pancakes. They were so good, we skipped the maple syrup for both our dishes.
Looking forward to going back soon. It's out of the way but it's worth the trip.
Went here with my family for mothers day and it was a great visit!
The place looks like a house from the outside, and I would assume it was but is now an homely cafe. The service is great and the ladies that run it are very pleasant.
The menu is small and well laid out, especially for a cafe. I got the item called "bliss". It is scrambled eggs with cream cheese and chives and bacon all on an English muffin with home fries in the side. It was a bit too thick for my liking but still had a great blend of flavors.
My mom got the lindors French toast and I had a bite. Absolutely amazing! 10/10.
I would suggest going here for a Sunday breakfast with the family
Zoe's is such an adorable place for brunch near the shore. We stopped here for brunch before going to Sandy Hook on a Saturday morning. We were a big group for this tiny place, so we waited for 20 min before being seated.
The food was so good!!! I had swiss eggs- creamy cheese on top, the flavor from the mushrooms gave the rich dish a nice earthy balance. I also tried my friend's pancakes, french toast, and sausage. The sausage was extremely moist and tasty- loved it!
