   It's would have been 5-star review if service was faster but I thought their food, Colombian-style "fast" food, was pretty good.

   We came here because of a Yelp Deal, $10 for $20. I would have never known about this place if not for the Yelp deal even though its one and a half blocks from me. I never go this direction but since it's that close, I might now.

   We actually ordered a burger and Patacon but there was a mixup and the girl by the counter thought we ordered a hot dog and Patacon. Either way the food was good. I would just double check next time. The service was a bit slow and mixed up. I don't think the girl working at the counter has been working too long but I have to say she is very sweet.

   I had the Patacon Mixto. Which is a large fried tostones (green plantain) topped with guacamole and then a mixture of three meats: pork belly, pulled beef and pulled chicken. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Hard to eat, doesn't matter where you buy a Patacon, it's hard to eat. At La Gata Golosa they add guacamole to their Patacon, awesome addition.

   Their Colombian-style hot dog is actually pretty yummy. They used potato stix instead of crushes potato chips, I liked this very much. I like that they used a sandwich roll instead of a regular hot dog roll. Makes it a heftier sandwich to hold onto the ingredients better. The hot dog plus toppings were good….there was pineapple!

   I want to try their burger next.

   My bf decided to get his own yelp deal after trying my deal. He wants to try it too.

   I have a feeling we are going to be regulars. It was slow service, sweet girl, and very yummy.

   I saw the yelp offer online and decided to give it a try for lunch.  It took  about 10 minutes to explain the yelp offer to the cashier and finally I was able to put my order in with the offer.

   I ordered the patacones with guacamole and chicharron.  I wasn't amazed with the dish not my acquired taste for food.  I should have tried a different meat type because it was really hard to eat.  Both the Chicharoon and plantain were very dry and not much flavor.   The only think I like was the guacamole.

   My wife took the safe route and ordered the Philly cheese steak.  Not the best but not something to complain about given it is a Colombian fast food joint.

   I also ordered the Raspado for desert which consist of Ice, raspberry concentrate, and condensed milk.  The drink was very sour at first due to the raspberry and got better as the ice melted and mixed with the condensed milk.  

   Overall, a good place to find cheap eats and they gave us free frozen yogurt samples which was actually really good.
