  1. You can't really say anything bad about this IHOP, its relatively new, only been there for less than a year, and the furniture and dining room is still brand new and clean. The place doesn't feel worn out of sticky from syrup splatter. Service was prompt, and pancakes and coffee were delicious. There is security here, so the neighborhood is a tad sketchy for sure, but once inside, it feels like Sunday morning again. Good light in the dining room as well. A little pancake and syrup time is always needed.

  2. Speedy service, didn't have to wait long to get seated, and our food came out fast. Better than I expected for the area.

  3. The iced coffee had about 10 pounds of sugar in it, and service took forever to bring the food. Methinks not, indeed.

  4. Can you believe this was my first time ever trying IHOP?! Yeah man! I ordered the chicken and waffles. For a chain restaurant the food wasn't bad. Their coffee could be stronger but it was unlimited coffee (which I had 4 cups of- which got me bouncing off wallzz for days) Our server was really efficient and nice for the most part. We got our food in a little less than 15 minutes. The bacon and eggs were made decently. This IHOP isn't as bad as most people wrote it out to be, I came here on a Sunday morning too..

  5. I love diner food and ihop is a diner, right? Anyway, very close to my place, new, clean, and welcoming. I think the waIt staff really wants this place to work out because it's in a part of Harlem that's a bit scary. But come on an Ihop in Harlem, of course it will do well. I come early, very early, so my regular table is always free. My favorite dish, pancakes. Lol Food is very good, the waitress is friendly and attentive. It's quiet inside, which I like. Security does say a lot about the area but we already touched on that. At least I feel safe.

In celebration of IHOPs 57th anniversary, they are giving away 57 cent pancakes. There was only a twenty minute wait. The people's reaction to the wait ranged from indifference to anger about the number of people wanting cheap pancakes. People were noticeably upset by empty tables but probably didn't realize that the restaurant simply did not have the staff. It took about 10 minutes to take my order but again completely understandable. My order was the
Quick Two Egg Breakfast: Over Medium, Bacon, Whole Wheat Toast. Plus the cheap pancakes. The waiter had to come back 5 minutes later to ask how I wanted my eggs. While waiting the 15 minutes for my food to arrive. I noticed that there were 5 tables covered with dining debris. Plus the Fire alarm went off multiple times. When my food came out, there wasn't any whole wheat toast. The waiter said he would get them but he didn't. The eggs were close to medium which was shocking. The bacon is clearly baked and kept on the grill or a chaffing dish. The hash browns had a nice top crunch but lacked any seasoning. I had to get my own ketchup and Tabasco sauce. The pancakes looked just like picture: Three golden brown, 1/2 inch thick and fluffy pancakes with the ice scoop of butter.  The old fashion and pecan tasted the same. The blueberry was too thin and artificial tasting. The strawberry was much thicker but really tasty. Stick with the classic. They do have sugar syrup upon request. After finishing my meal. I waited another 15 minutes to get the check. I hope his day got better BX he got wrecked.

  7. I came here on a late Sunday afternoon and it wasn't too crowed. I was very impressed by how good the service was. We placed our order and even asked for the steak tips to be done medium instead of well done since that's the standard. Our waitress told us that they usually wont do them in different temperatures but she would try her best. It was a pleasant surprise when our food arrived and it was done to our liking.

  8. An absolute joke of a place….a complete joke.

It took a good 10 minutes to figure where to seat me, I was by myself during the lunch rush. The waitress? A feakin attitude problem. The most unprofessional, rude and unfriendly person I have ever dealt with. Honestly, if you don't want to wait on people, GET ANOTHER JOB!

No problems with the food, but getting the bill and paying for it? Another issue. I waited at the front desk for at least 5 minutes to wait to pay. I should've just walked out and have a free lunch.

F that and F you IHOP.
