  1. Massive market with sandwich stations, sushi and salad stations, etc. as well as huge buffet-like bars with a huge mixed array of offerings that run the gamut from Asian-inspired to mega-health-nut style dishes. I chose almond teriyaki chicken, roasted cauliflower, mixed Mexican bean salad, grilled vegetables, and some fresh fruit. All were fresh and flavorful, maybe a bit heavy on the sauce. Their sandwiches and soups looked/sounded really good. Reasonably priced. Fast service.

  2. Always a great place when you're in union square and you want to stop and eat something quick! It's a busy place in the morning and lunch times- not really sure why the reviews aren't as great as what the place seems to be!

  3. Kind of like a mini-chain of multi-purpose delis/cafes that are in the city. Decent enough buffet with a lot of choices, clean, small dining area upstairs.

It's basically a big multi-deli with many lunch options. Large buffet bar with a boat load of choices, hot and cold. Salad bar with all the fixins, many soups w/ free bread, sushi area, korean noodle/soup area, stir fry, sandwiches/wraps, desserts, etc, plus all the standard deli fare. You can go totally healthy here, or let your inner fattie run wild.

Can get a bit pricey if you pick up lunch here every day, but with so many options it is a decent choice if you work in the area. This spot is kind of narrow and can get bottlenecked during prime lunch hours with the register area being right in the middle of the place but there is another register area in the back to avoid this.

  4. Probably the best hot bar I've gone to thus far. On the down side, they are expensive and only except cards for purchases over $10. I've been to this location a few times. The prices end up forcing me not to over eat with the one exception being when I had to make the $10 limit.

  5. I want to like it more but it's just not there. I've been coming here for a few months now and while I still like the selection and find the prices to be very good for the area, it's in one word….inconsistent. I order the same sandwich when I come here and each time it seems to be a different price. The quality of the sandwich fluctuates with whoever is making it. It's still a good choice for the area, I'd just really like some consistency across the board.

  6. Have eaten here a couple of times in the past few months because of convenience (my office is literally next door). But this place is honestly overpriced for the low quality food they offer. If you come here I would totally avoid the hot food bar. It's simply just poorly cooked and not fresh. I tried some dumplings that were super questionable, and the meats are overcooked. The price is high too! A small plate from the hot bar will be around 13 dollars. Just not awesome for shitty food. I would give this place a lower rating, but they partially redeem themselves with the deli/sandwich station. Things here are reasonably priced and solid quality. This place is like 5 different kinds of delis combined so the quality and price vary wildly. Proceed with caution.

  7. This place is your basic New York City deli. They have the usual sandwich station, hot food buffet, cold food buffet as well as decent breakfast spread.

I've had both the breakfast as well as a sandwich on a few different occasions and both were average at best. You can get a decent amount of food for a good price but it certainly won't be anything special. This is definitely the kind of place you come to when you're on the go and happen to be in the area. Other than that you're definitely better off going to one of the many notable food options in the area.

  8. For the area it is a great and very affordable lunch option. Their wraps are always great as are the salads. I have been coming here for a couple of years as I work on the square and have never had any major issues with the service or food and would recommend it for a quick, affordable and solid lunch option.
