  1. Ihop is Ihop. You go to Ihop because you want Ihop-esque food. Your expectations aren't set very high in the first place, so don't expect a fine dining experience. Needless to say, the food was great, the service was quick and I thought the staff was pleasant. I decided to check out this Ihop on a Sunday morning around 11 am. I opted out of a brunch that would have ran me a good $50 bucks and 45 mins of wasted time to be seated. I would definitely come back to this Ihop, assuming I want something quick and to the point. No complaints. Didn't give it 5 stars because, well, it's Ihop.

  2. "Decent iHop"

I do not have too much to complain about this place. Most of the time that I eat here the place is fairly empty, so the service is fairly fast and I am in and out within 30 minutes. Anita (or Amelia, I forget the waitress') name is really great, funny, and she makes sure that you are taken care off.

  3. This location is big, airy and borderline-pristine. I had a looong sleepless night (I think it was the supermoon) and decided it was time for me to have (for the first time, ever!) blueberry pancakes. I walked in feeling like a ghost just after they opened at 7 and was greeted by Jenna. She was soft-spoken but warm and smiled and seemed generally genuine. I felt weary and she made me feel very comfortable and was attentive (the restaurant was almost totally empty but I've seen servers make up lots of excuses rather than check in and so I appreciate this.) The food was exactly what I wanted and expected, got a combo with the works for under $12. This definitely meets a need in my dining-out repertoire and was a clean and calm haven in a gritty neighborhood. I'll be back. 🙂

  4. Nice, clean and quick.

The $5 lunch special with eggs, bacon, hash browns and 2 pancakes ARE LEGIT!

    Hmmm…strawberry syrup!

  5. Pancakes.
Its called the International House of Pancakes. If you come here and order a Quesadilla, it will suck. Stick to what they specialize in. It ought to be good- its their namesake!
I came in on a Saturday around Noon. It was clean. Semi busy. I waited for 15 minutes before i got a table. Its all you can eat pancake season apparently so i ordered a simple breakfast of eggs and sausage with a short stack of pancakes. The eggs were okay, i asked for them over medium and they were just barely over easy. The sausages were puny and greasy.
My pancakes were soft and fluffy. I played with all of the syrups before I decided on the bluberry syrup. I tore into my pancakes. Sipped my bottomless coffee and before i knew it, my short stack was finished and my server no where in sight.
    10 minutes passed.
She reappeared and instantly brought out more pancakes.
Our eyes were bigger than our appetites.
I wouldnt come here for anything other than pancakes… MAYBE breakfast. But thats about it.
Its nice to have an IHOP within walking distance of my apartment. And the service isnt bad. Its friendly and quick (minus the 10 minutes the server was gone- probably on break).
    I will be back.
