  1. This place is so legit.  I go here often and am never disappointed.  I'm a huge fan of the shrimp parm hero.  The bread is soft and delicious, cheese is fresh and melty and the the shrimp is tender and juicy.  Their pasta is amazing too.  You can't go wrong with anything smothered in their Vodka sauce.  Oh, and get their fried cheese, unlike at your local TGI Fridays, these bad boys are balls of fresh mozzarella– fried gently and served with traditional marinara–  a must have!

  2. I went with my wife yesterday to Valencia ravoli for dinner. The restaurant itself is clean and airy and has a takeout counter on the side. We were seated immediately which was not surprising considering ther restaurant was almost empty on a Saturday night. We weere given a baskety of garlic bread with sauce which was awful. We then ordered two entrees spagetti with meatballs and eggplant parm for dinner. Both were good to very good and portion size was large. Service was responsive but a bit slow (30 minutes to get dinner) considering there were few people in the restaurant. The price to value ratio is a bit above average for this type of restaurant. All in all this was a good experience and I will probably be returning in the future.

  3. If you want a long story short: go to Valencia because it's really delicious.
If you want the longer story, keep reading.
GC16 on a wrap is what I ordered. (Grilled chicken 16 off of their Old Treasured Menu).
A generous portion of grilled chicken with mozzarella, sun dried tomato, and mixed greens. Here's the best part of that sandwich, the pesto. Eating that sandwich is my 15 minute mini-vacation. I relish every moment I have with that delicacy. In fact, I ordered two sandwiches for dinner tonight, and ate it myself. Just order it, and thank me later.
As far as customer service is concerned, they're always friendly and prompt.
The inside is really cute too. Perfect for an evening date night. I'd love to stay in and dine, but I live like two minutes away so I usually just take out.

Protip: Valencia now has a pizzeria inside. I tried out their slices today and they were really delicious. So crispy, cheesy, and saucy. So, basically, I just found you your new favorite pizzeria. You're welcome.

  4. I was in  the neighborhood looking for a place to grab some dinner so it was between a bar grill and Valencia's .  So after checking some reviews I went with Valencia's and I'm glad I did . I was somewhat confused because  they advertise as a deli , but they make Italian dishes.   When I entered I was greeted by a hostess and I wanted to take a look at the menu,  and I have to say that I was somewhat disappointed because they were filled with breadcrumbs.  I stayed anyway,  I was really intrigued so i asked the waitress to tell me about the deli/ restaurant and she did .  Also told me that they made all their pasta and mozzarella in house They also have homemade deserts.  so anyway I opted for something called shrimp ala gi-gi.  shrimp in a light mushroom sauce and covered in fresh mozzarella.   it was very light and delicious.   shrimps were not overcooked. no doggy bag…….lol  then I  had a cannoli made to order with a single espresso. it was super and creamy. … I will have to return to try some of the other items on the menu.  almost forgot the place has some light live music on weekend's.  don't forget they don't sell alcohol. BYOB….somewhat of a small dining area so get here early…..Waiters and waitresses provided great customer service . thank you …
