Went to Sarabeth's for lunch. Used to be good but of late the service has become slow. Food now really just average and not worth the price charged. Only gave this review one star as you can't give less!
Watched an elderly lady with her young granddaughter wait 45 minutes to be served by an uninterested waitress more interested in chatting with her colleagues. After 45 minutes of pointing out to the waitress that the young child needed to eat the waitress informed the customer that a food preparation machine in the kitchen was broken so they couldn't deliver the meal. The customer asked why she wasn't informed about this for so long and the waitress just shrugged her shoulders. Upon this the customer stood up and walked out in disgust.
Every diner in the restaurant was appalled at the way the lady and child were treated.
I wouldn't go back to this establishment again on principle. It could just as easily have been a member of my family treated so shabbily!
