Went for the first time last weekend to continue the endless quest of trying every burger in my area. For scientific research purposes of course. I had a cheeseburger with 'shrooms and pickles, in a lettuce wrap. It was delicious. Ingredients all very fresh, the lettuce was super crisp and the burger was cooked perfectly. Very juicy! Fries were good too, not the best ever but def. a step up from your fast food fry norm. Also tried a hot dog, which was in a freshly baked bun that seemed like a mix of a french baguette and croissant. Yep. Awesome. My significant other said his burger, with a bun, was very good as well. The buns/bread are baked fresh daily and you can definitely taste that. To top it off, got a chocolate shake which was the thickest most cement like shake I have ever had. I basically had to eat it, and I say this positively. It is a bit pricey considering it still falls into the fast food category, but I think it's worth it. Way better than 5 guys, not as greasy and much fresher tasting. Can't wait to go again.
I came here for lunch with my mom, we wanted a good burger and wanted to hear what all the buzz was about, but we were not impressed. It was OK – wasn't great but wasn't horrible. The burger and fries were delicious, and we were both happy with our selections. However, the menu was incredibly confusing, the staff was overbearing, and it was expensive for what we got. My mother and I both wanted a mooyah burger, so I ordered and said "Can I please have two mooyah burgers?" to be yelled at by the cashier "Do you want one mooyah burger with two patties or two separate burgers?" I understand that their menu is complex and fun with different additions but they need to provide better instructions as you walk in or as they welcome you. I know the young cashier was only doing his job, but I felt like I was being scolded for ordering a meal. His overbearing and cocky attitude, plus $23 check for two burgeres left us with a bad taste in our mouth and we will not be returning.
I like this place in Bi-State plaza. It's a change of pace burger place with outdoor seating.
The burgers are very customized to the bread and cheese. The Saturday, It was really busy with many workers. Many young kids working.
The burger in the healthy bun was good. The bun was able to sop up all the grease.
I didn't like the seasoning for the sweet potato fries. I will have to remember to ask them to not add any funny powder next time.
