I probably go here at least once a week. It's a pretty cool neighborhood spot especially on football Sundays when it is half off. The other days it's half off apps and drinks after 10pm. Overall I would recommend it.
For an Applebee's it's pretty good. I went with friends and had decent service. The host was friendly. Though I sometimes felt the server ignored us but that's ok. My friends and I were chatting so we didn't need someone hovering
We got the make your own appetizer sampler. It was a great deal with lots of apps available to mix and match. Then my one friend and I did the two for twenty. It was a nice deal and the food was good. My salad was tasty and a huge portion.
Nice job Applebee's.
What can I say that my tip didn't express. The food here is not great, it gets loud and it gets crowded. But I still like Applebee's! The food is consistent, they have a good low calorie menu, the beer selection is good and the service is always good. I like that a manager comes to the table at least once per meal to make sure everything is okay. Another nice touch is that when the server brings a steak they ask you to check to make sure it's cooked the way you want it. I also like the way this chain goes to great length's to be a local place. There are more local pictures hanging here than any local place I know of.
I've been coming here for years with my friends for half off apps and 2 for 1 drinks after 10pm. I've probably tried most of their apps (such an accomplishment, I know) and my favorite is the chicken quesadilla (comes with so many pieces for the half price you're paying) and recently discovered another amazing app- the pretzel dippers with cheese! (Which are warm pretzels you dip into some beer-infused cheese fondue). I like the wings, mozzarella sticks, and nachos too – very filling but they're not my first picks when I go usually. For desserts, the molten cake and cookie sundae are amazing!! They recently added/updated their app menu and "bar bites" so I tried the meatballs and churro smores which were just okay. Not the healthiest food so these are all definitely guilty pleasures we indulge in after a concert or movie since it's open late.
For drinks, mudslide is hands down the best drink I've had. I rather get my mudslide than the drinks they have included in the 2 for 1 (wish they'd add mudslide to that list!!).
Of all the times I've come here, our waiter Jay stood out! Very friendly and engaging, and honest when making recommendations on the menu. My friends also say the new manager comes around often to make sure everyone is okay which they really appreciate.
Stopped in for lunch with my family this afternoon–in the middle of a snowstorm. The hostess and wait staff were all super friendly and very attentive. Our food came out quickly and was served hot. The 2 for $20 menu is always a good value. They also had some cheap lunch specials to choose from. We went with the fiesta lime chicken and chicken finger basket with spinach artichoke dip appetizer. We also triedthe chicken quesadilla grande with bacon app (which I'd never had before) and that was pretty good. I don't go to Applebee's, or any chain restaurant, for the amazing quality of the food. I know we ate way too many calories and boatloads of sodium and that almost nothing is made fresh or to order. However, we had a nice local lunch served by friendly people in an upbeat "everybody smiles" environment. And today, that was just what the doctor ordered. They do lose one star for forgetting to bring my mom's margarita.
This Applebee's is easily accessible. It's in the suburbs and has its own parking lot. Near a couple gas stations and other stores. I've been coming here for a around 5 years and the place has always been kept clean.
The front desk isn't the warmest. For the most park, they are always talking to each other and rushing the customer. They aren't too nasty tho, you can just tell they don't like their job.
The bartenders have great service here. (Warning: lots of creep old men at the bar.) The waiters and waitresses are very friendly, 1 or 2 one's but whatever. The food can take some time to come out but not always.
I usually get the triple chocolate melt down, boneless buffalo wings, steak towers, and when I'm really hungry I'll have whatever sizzling plates are available.
Good food to watch games with and talk to your friends.
went here the other night with my girls had a fun time and food was good. it's an applebees aren't they all the same? if you want amazing food you should probably go to a 5 star restaurant. it's good for what it is.
It's a standard Applebee's store enough said.
Service is standard.
Food is cookie cutter and kinda bland.
Drinks taste good but not strong.
