I tried both the cinnamon (sujeonggwa) bingsoo and regular patbingsoo (the only two flavors offered).
I liked the presentation with the gold spoons and metal bowls. They both had jujube chips and rice cakes – yum.
The cinnamon one has a strong soojunggwa (korean persimmon punch) flavor. It's VERY cinnamon-y, almost spicy, and has pieces of persimmon as well.
The regular patbingsoo was good too although i thought the red bean was a little too thick and bland. Some parts of the ice weren't shaved fully either and I got some chunks. It's not a big deal usually but because the size of the bingsoo itself isn't that large, the ice chunk seems bigger proportionately.
They are less sweet and much smaller than most patbingsoos sold around the flushing/bayside area (a little bigger than half of one). But they're cheaper too ($8 / $9), so that's sort of fair.
Personally, I like cocohodo's bingsoo much better. I think this suited my mom's taste though, so I'd probably bring her back here. The cafe seems to attract an older crowd anyway – from what I saw, mostly Korean women in their 50s.
