All I have to say is How do you jack up a vegetable roti?
This is just a fancy Chinese restaurant way overpriced crappy phony and not authentic restaurant. I wasted $6 too much here, never ever again. The roti skin was burnt, and dry, and the vegetables were cut so large I couldn't really bite into it. Horrible……HORRIBLE
The like this spot. West Indian style Chinese food or Guyanese-Chinese food love the jerk pork, Trini-style chicken and the lo mein. There is so many other things on the menu I want to try like the cook up rice. oil roti, pepper pot, the soursop shake, Fried banga mary and the jerk lamb. This place people most get takeout even though you can eat it there. The price are decent for 2 people we paid about $15.00. Good West Indian style chinese food!!
I have no idea about the Chinese side of the menu, but the West Indian items are mostly excellent.
The small items are large and the larges are unfinishable for most. The goat and chicken curries with rice and peas are first-rate, excellently spiced with flavors I'm not qualified to identify.
On the last visit it was difficult to miss out on the smoky coating of the jerk chicken but I wanted to expand my knowledge of all things jerk, so I went with the jerk pork. I've never seen this formulation before, using juicy Chinese-type roast pork, for a compelling item that you probably shouldn't have every day.
Awesome Chinese-Guyanese cuisine. I only wish they sold Pepper Pot. 🙁
