We had a layover of several hours in Newark and decided to head out of the airport for food. Au Bon Gout sounded good from the few reviews and so we headed there. Both my wife and I were really looking forward to eating a whole fish. But that didn't happen for us. The menu had many interesting and good sounding items on it, but every time we chose something they were out. Fish, none available. Conch, none avaliable. Griot, none available. Fried goat, none available. Plantains, none available. Chicken, they had that. We ended up sharing what we were told was the last portion of goat stew plus a side salad and some rice and beans. The food was good, I'll give credit for that.
