Went here with a friend to have an authentic Haitian dinner. I myself am Haitian so I've never paid to have a Haitian meal…it's called going to a relative's house. Anyway got there and the layout is a bar in front and then tables towards the back. We were seated in the dining area. We ordered a bottle of Chilean white wine as opposed to just getting glasses. My friend ordered the lambi (conch), while I got the boulettes (fried meatballs). It was something that my mom used to make when I was young, but I have not had in years. The food was okay, everything was served with rice and plantains. It definitely wasn't that good compared to what I grew up with. It was pretty pricey, but for what we got it made sense. The boulettes were dry, but I ordered the sauce on the side so it probably would have been better cooked in the sauce. The biggest scam though was that the bottle of wine was $50 and my friend who is Chilean knows that the real value of the bottle is no more than $4. I'm not surprised though that they overcharged that much though. It was a big bottle and they probably charged for the size, not the quality. A live band played and sang Haitian music. I'm most likely never going back, but I don't regret trying it out.
Really cool live jazz bar serving up Haitian and Creole specialties!
Several lunch specials $8-$10
Griot:
I was excited to try the griot from here and it was absolutely delicious. Crispy cubes of pork chunks were super moist and soft and the rice and beans were good too, but the green plantains were extremely dry and not cooked well. And my takeout order took 30min!!
You can also get the black mushroom rice for $2 extra

So impressed with my delivered food I felt like they needed a Yelp resting because of it. This rating is for the grub hub app.
Originally I was very nervous about placing an order here for delivery but I decided to take a change anyway.
Mesamni!!! The food is soooooooo good! They really make some authentic Haitian food here. One of these days I must visit the actual establishment and dine there. I'm very impressed with the food an delivery. I will update this review once I physically check the place out
Came here randomly with my family. There was a big party going on so we had to opt for the buffet. No menus were ever given to us and the buffet didn't have a lot of options. There was a beet salad, saltfish (I didn't enjoy it at all), rice, beans(ok), whiting (the best part) and some fish with the head and eyes still on it. I know its a cultural thing… but I just can't. lol Overall I forced myself to eat to not waste money. Prob wont go back
