This spot is the closet to my house so when the craving comes we come by here. They always seem to have specials which is great for my pocket. Went in around 6pm to pick up 10 pieces, 2 large sides and 5 biscuits for 20..00 + tax….can't beat that!
Ok, I will go with previous visitors, this place can be slow.
Now….I have been here before, but never rated or checked in.
There are a couple of cashiers that are really good with the orders and then others that need additional training and there could be some language barriers with this location. There have been times when they have not prepared enough chicken, meaning tenders or white meat. This is a busy location because it is connected with a Burger King. They share the same restaurant space, but do not share the same drive thru.
I have had times when I place an order in drive thru and it's all messed up, so I always go inside to watch what happens.
Tonight it was total chaos in the parking lot which is really small for this combo type of locations. I waited a bit before going inside. The line was long.
My order was two tender dinners, sides and drinks. Extra corn in the cob. I asked for the dipping sauces and was told I could have 2 per sauces meal. I really do not understand this dipping sauce extra charge that restaurants try and impose on you. This is a total money maker and B.S. as far as I am concerned.
The chicken was crispy and hot. All the sides were good. It was Popeyes fast food and sometimes you just want someone else to fry the chicken. If we had a Chik-fil-A then this would never be on my radar.
The food was ok and to be as expected. The employees are a bit slow and stumble all over each other. The food I would give 3 stars, employees 1 stars not because they are rude, just not trained and not faster. Management needed to step up the training. So 2 stars and enjoy the parking lot roulette.
This location actually has a drive thru, i visited the actual store. I guess u can say i was craving fried chicken, ppwrhap not the best chicken in town but pretty much fast food fried chicken. Got a bucket of 10 pieces, requested all dark meat, half spicy half regular and no sides. When i got home, to my surprize there was chicken breast among the pieces of chicken in my bucket.. I have to say that this location seems very clean, inside there are a few tables and everything is sterile (white decor) all around. Plenty of parking at this location. Overall not bad chicken, they chicken has a good flavor the spicy chicken was not spicy at all (bummer) i love cole slaw salad with my fried chicken. Unfortunately, popeye's cole slaw is not to my like. I do love KFC's cole slaw, in my opinion is probably the best for a fast food place. I dont care for the powdery mash potatoes, had it once and i dod not like it. The biscuits are just bland and they have way too much butter and no taste.
