  1. My taste buds have been violated and I need to know how do I get redemption for them! (Insert angry emoji face). Where do I begin? I know how how about the name. Wings N Things of Elmont ( I mean we are located there right) not Hempstead.
My fiancé has fallen in love with the franchise since I was doing my clinical rotations a few blocks from the Hempstead location. I was never particularly in love with it as it always gave me the feel of McDowells from the movie Coming to America.

I was hoping this location would have been a bit different. Like I don't understand why on this seminar polluted  earth are they still screaming order through the PA system. I'm pretty sure they got the ticket in the kitchen around the corner.

Now let me get to the food. I ordered the 3 piece chicken dinner with a corn bread substitute. That hockey buck that they are trying to pass off as a biscuit they need to CUT IT! How do I explain the disappointment I felt when I tasted this bland Lil drumstick. Somewhere the Fried Chicken God's are crying. The only thing that honestly got them that sad little emoji brown star was the cornbread and fries.

  2. The food was horrible. After anxiously awaiting for this restaurant to finally open up my husband and I were sadly disappointed. The Hempstead locations food is much better quality. We bought the 4 piece meal with fields a biscuit and cole slaw. The chicken was very dry. The biscuit was semi soft and had no taste and the coleslaw was too sweet for my taste. I will not be back!!

  3. This review is for the chicken and fries. I have a bad habit of grocery shopping on an empty stomach so I figured id stop by wings and things before heading to Western Beef.

The fries were yummy! The chicken was okay. It gets the job done if you're hungry. I wouldn't say it's bad, but it didn't rock my socks off.
