  1. I've been to BWW Watchung many times, usually to watch UFC events.

The wings are quite good with a great selection of sauces, my favorite being the spicy garlic. Definitely the classic wings taste better than the boneless. The burgers are a step down from their wings and a bit mushy. Early in the week there are wing specials that make it a pretty tasty bargain to come eat here.

They are somewhat kid friendly as they do have high chairs and they even gave us a small box of crayons and a coloring sheet for our son. Nice touch for a sports bar.

It is not a bad happy hour atmosphere here. Friendly bartenders and patrons. They have a good selection of beers on tap. A tall Yueng Ling at only 5 bucks or so really hits the spot after a long day at work. I've met one of the regulars here who showed me how to play video poker over one of the flat screens by the bar area. Needless to say they also have many sports games on over their many tvs.

UFC nights here are definitely not for everyone. It can get very jam packed and the crowd is a bit rough around the edges. A lot of tap out shirts and rowdiness. A pro tip of mine if you want to watch UFC here is to avoid the crazy lines and people and go order food while sitting by the takeout area.

  2. ***This Review Will Be Replaced In The Future***

My friend and I wanted to come in here to grab a drink. We came in at around 2pm, and since he preferred to sit at a table, we were seated immediately. Soon, our server arrived to take our drink orders. I ordered a Cherry beer, and my friend ordered an IPA.

After another waiting period, our beers arrived. We both enjoyed them. Additionally, my friend ordered the mini corn dogs for us to share. After a rather longer waiting period, they arrived. While these were edible, we both agreed that they were a lot more deep fried than what we're usually accustomed to. Thankfully, it did count as a snack.

As this is a sports bar, multiple TVs were scattered all over the place, which broadcasted various sporting events. When we were there, several hockey and football games were in progress. We did see some hockey players get into hand-to-hand combat. Some people in the restaurant cheered when some football players scored touchdowns. We imagined how crowded and noisy this place would be during major sporting events.

I remember long ago when another fellow Yelper told me about their Wing Tuesday specials. She told me that each wing was around 60 cents. My friend and I actually saw an ad on the menu for that too. Well, if we ever get a craving for wings, we will definitely come back on a Wing Tuesday.

For this experience, service was overall a bit on the sluggish side. The corn dogs were a little too deep fried. On the bright side, our server did have a positive attitude. Sometime later on (don't know when exactly we'll get that craving), we will come back in favor of Wing Tuesday (in the night). After we experience that, this review will be replaced.

  3. Absolutely fantastic chain. This chain on 22 doesn't disappoint at all…

Been coming here for a few years, and every time I come, they nail it. The only issue (which is out of their control) is how packed it can get on weekend evenings.

Wings, perfect. Drinks, perfect. Service, perfect.

+Drinks: PLENTY on tap, and always served to you pretty quickly.

+Trivia: A must when my wife and I go. Big TVs. Questions no one knows the answers to. Rankings for everyone to see. Can't beat it.

+Wings: This is where the 22 location stands out. I've been to other Buffalo Wild Wings locations, and the service has been sub-par. The wings haven't been as wet as I'd like (at 22, they actually mark our order with an "Extra Wet" sticker), and can sometimes be beyond dry. Here, I've never had an issue with that at all. They're always done perfectly (we get traditional), and have had yet to have a bad batch.

+Service: Usually pretty quick. Beers served quickly, servers asking for refills and for our next round of wings, and the check brought out soon after asking for it.

  4. LOVE BWW and this location.  Can usually get a seat in the first come first serve area at the high tables with little to no wait.

Got a BANGIN bloody mary.  Came with a sweet-ish pickle!

    My usual wing order is:
Medium – 5 Asian Zing, 5 Parm Gar, and 5 Salt and Vin with extra salt and extra vin

This time, we tried their new Ginger Honey wings and they were similar to Asian Zing, not as hot, but sweet like them.

    Love the trivia too.

  5. LOOOOOUUUUUUD NOISES!
You have to scream across the table to be heard. It's not the TVs either. It's the people talking and the high open ceilings.

Not that you should be coming to a BWW for a romantic date or deep conversations but I'm just warning you.

That said, great veggie burger. Yes, I go to BWW for a veggie burger. Judge away.

  6. Great place to watch a sporting event but the food is really just so-so.  Had an order of nachos with chicken.  Nothing bad happened but it was nothing special.  It looked good, in fact it looked a lot better than it tasted.

On the other hand their wings are full of flavor but in my opinion, at about $1 each overpriced since they aren't particularly large.  While the sauces we tried we liked (garlic parmesean, Asian zing, and jerk), there was just too, too much on the wing.  I vote for more chicken and less sauce.  In fact, the garlic parm, while very tasty, was a tough eat as it was extremely messy.  I would try that one on the boneless wing instead.

Beer on tap prices seemed reasonable.

As a place to catch a sporting event, a definite thumbs up.  For a place to go after a movie or something like that, I'll pass.

  7. Average BWW here that can get very crowded during game nights like all the other BWW's. Service is hit or miss here and the server sometimes forgot to bring out minor items but overall was on par. Chicken does taste fresh and with a good amount of sauce.

Overall, I'll come back with family or friends since it's our local BWW for the occasional BWW craving.

  8. Always chuckle when I think of my first visit. We were seated and the server attempted to regale us with detail of various salads. SALADS??? Are you serious? I was and shall always be there for the wings-when I don't feel like making them.

I like the "hot" wings.  Nice and spicy. Good fries. A good brew.

    End communication…..
