“Food quality is very good and I find that its pretty good for family or friends.”

“The setting is pretty cool, the lighting is just a bit too dim, other than that its a good concept, like the wings dont love it, but the variety of sauces are fun to play around with!”

  1. Meh, definitely not one of the better B'dubs.

Slow service, not bad, but slow.  Our server was nice and friendly, but didn't stop by very often and we waited on the bill for quite awhile.  Also, it wasn't very busy at all, I'd say she probably had 1, maybe 2 other tables.

Mediocre food.  Fried pickles were SUPER salty.  Buffalo Ranch Chicken Wrap was not nearly as good as I usually get at this chain.  Just had a weird flavor to it.  Blah.

My margarita was delicious though, as they always are at B'dubs…dunno what it is, they are nothing special, but I love B'dubs margaritas.

Lots of TVs, but many of them were small, non HDs with messed up pictures.

I'm sure there is much better in the area.

  2. The food was fine, but the service was atrocious. We waited forever for someone to seat up, we waited forever for someone to take our drink order, we waited forever to order our food, etc. etc. I ordered a beer, it took 20 minutes and it was a small even though I ordered a tall. I told the manager and he did take a bunch of items off of our bill. He said he was short staffed but based on the other reviews here that seems to be a common problem. It's too bad because the food was good, the space is cool, if they can just fix the staffing issue this place has potential.

  3. The food here is crap but it's a good place to watch a game with friends.  That's really the only reason to go here.

  4. Since this place is a chain let me mention that obviously the food is pretty good here.

It all depends on how the service is.

At first it was nice to get a seat where a tv was since my friend and I wanted to watch a football game. OH WAIT, THERE'S TV'S EVERYWHERE! Thanks for making us seem like we're VIP.

Second, we ordered our drinks.  I really didn't know they start their beer off by fermenting their hops because it really took that long!

They must of pickled their cucumbers that second because it took a long time for fried pickles to come out.  Oh and I guess they must've made their own ranch dressing too since my fried pickles came out about 10 minutes after I got my dipping sauce.

It was hard enough to find a waiter, I'm sure he was in the corner making beer, pickles, and ranch dressing; maybe chopping the chicken wings into pieces while chasing them down because he was nowhere to be seen.  Maybe there was a farm in back that I was missing, maybe I'm being too harsh on these people.

But the only reason I give it two stars is because the nice dorky little manager at this place was the only attentive one who brought my items, and of course he was going around every table, so I couldn't chase him down. Poor guy working with all these farm workers.

  5. Our server hovered over us to order, then after we did, disappeared until it was time to get the check. Jack Daniels Burger was very disappointing – fake smoke flavor and no real sauce to speak of. Burger was very dry.  We were there for a Capital Theatre event but I think next time we'll look around.

  6. Typically not a chain restaurant person but this place is A-OK every once in awhile for some good greasy bar food and draft beer.

Favorites are boneless wings (honey BBQ sauce!), fries, and onion rings.

While the beer selection is nothing to write home about when you have places like the Ginger Man, Craftsman Ale House, etc in the area, I do appreciate the seasonal rotations on tap from some of the bigger American craft breweries.

  7. aside from my carpool of guys from Queens and Long Island, most of our office lives upstate, so this is one of the few possible "central" locations for the rare occasions we get together after work.

fairly standard bar food menu, but their claim to fame are their wing flavors. but it's kinda standard: you've got a few variants of hot and BBQ (yes, there is a "how hot are our wings" thermometer) plus some more "unique" ones. oh boy. since we went on Tuesday, it was 40-cent wings, so we made a point to sample a lot of the flavors. most of them were okay, the only real standouts were the mango habanero and the hot BBQ (dry rub variety). the problem with wings is that you have to eat a lot of them to fill up. on the plus side, you're not getting tiny pigeon wings like at some places.

beer list had some pretty good brews on hand; pleasant surprise. sadly I got stuck as designated driver, so I only had one beer early on and thus made it count…Rogue Dead Guy! a lot of German imports and American craft brews help to offset the bigger-name crappier beers like Budweiser and its ilk.

service was a little laggy at times. odd, because the place was pretty much empty aside from our group and a few people at the bar itself. also, they didn't tell us about any drink specials that night, which we found out after paying our bill. speaking of, it was a bit much for just having wings and beer – everyone kicked in about 15-25 bucks.

free wifi…but it's spotty. you'll have better luck logging on to the wifi from Applebee's next door. so I guess Applebee's is good for something!

music was a bit loud and overbearing for my tastes. same typical pop crap you hear everywhere else.

to be fair, I didn't expect much from a chain place in the suburbs; not a bad place but nothing outstanding. "meh" indeed!
