Mei Chung Mei Chinese takeout has pretty good food in the 3-star range but I give it an extra star because the staff are extra-friendly and accommodating. The order-takers remember patrons and how they like their food. They make substitutions with a smile and are willing to whip up a special order such as fried brown rice at our request. Some other Chinese takeouts in that neighborhood play around with prices, adding a quarter here and there hoping we won't notice, but not this place. Here the price is the same each time even if the dish is improvised and not on the menu. The floor and tables are kept clean. Mei Chung Mei is a keeper.
