  1. The two ladies that work the front counter are so sweet and polite and kind! This is your typical Chinese restaurant and they have plenty of seating.  I've only done take out here a few times, I have to say the entrees are decent but the fried rice that comes with the lunch special needs a little work, its always way too oily and lack flavor. The fried chicken needs a little more salt and some more spice.  I have to say East star is still my favorite Chinese food around the area but this place is so much closer to my home and the people here are nice!

  2. Just an update.  Found that their steamed chicken dumplings and steamed pork dumplings are also very good.  Their dumpling skin is thin, not the thick heavy kind.  I've posted pictures – check them out.

  3. Only Chinese I eat. The food is good, place has no ambiance and its not a great place for service or decor, but great pork fried rice, dumplings and beef with string beans.

  4. My friend wanted to try a different Chinese-American  for delivery since none of the Authentic Chinese restaurants on Broadway in Elmhurst deliver this far.
We ordered Chicken Wings with Pork Fried Rice and the Beef with Orange Flavor. I don't really care for chicken wings especially when it's sold from a chinese take-out place, but my friend who's not chinese thought they were pretty good. The pork fried rice was horrible. It was VERY dark in color, drenched in tons of soy sauce. It lacked pork or any flavor except for the soy sauce. Oh and yes, they did have scrambled egg in it, but that was pretty much it.
The Beef with Orange flavor wasn't very good either. My friend said the texture of the meat reminded him of boiled beef. Usually Orange Beef is supposed to be deep fried with breading, but this was just a soggy mess. It didn't have a lot of flavor either.
Something tells me this restaurant is trying to cater more  to the predominantly Latino community because Asians tend to think hispanics like soy sauce in their fake Chinese food. I would not order from this place again.
