What do you do when you've had a long day, missed your favorite Happy Hour so you get on the train back to BK sulking the whole ride because you could really use a drink. But NOT the hard apple cider you have in your fridge an actual cocktail but uggghhhh you don't want to be bothered with people or reading a menu???
You transfer from the J to the M get off on Knickerbocker walk a few blocks to New Apollo. Where for $10 you can get a 16oz (or maybe 12oz) cocktail of NOT top shelf liquor (probably Georgi) in a styrofoam cup TO GO!!!! Perfect because even though the food is NOT great it's always packed. I have actually sat and had food here twice and each time vowed to never spend my money here again (aside from my Pink Hawaiian of course)
These won't be the BEST drinks ever either but you get to walk down the street sipping from your naughty styrofoam cup, getting pretty buzzed on your walk home or around the neighborhood, hell even pre gaming before festivities as I have done all of the above.
$20 later and I'm a happy layydddaaayyyyyy!!
