GREAT diner. Pleasant workers and front staff.
Good food and I loved the coffee and pineapple juice.
Two dining areas and they also host private parties.
Small public parking lot.
They close early everyday I believe not a typical like late night or 24 hr diner. So I would call and check the times cause there incorrect on here.
The first time I came here was Mother's Day of this year. The place was a total madhouse, borderline psychotic. Nearly 100 Staten Island Mom's complaining that they weren't seated after waiting a painstaking….5 minutes. The management and wait staff handled it well, and our food was also good. I had a turkey club, the fries were cooked perfectly – I was more than satisfied for diner fare.
Seeing as my food was good the first go around I was in the neighborhood and suggested we order from Andrew's. The guy on the phone was super friendly as was the delivery guy but the food was borderline terrible. All three orders of fries were overcooked. My cheeseburger was very low quality, nearly every bite there was an unidentified crunch – I couldn't even get through half of it. Potato skins with bacon were done very half-assed, instead of bacon bites placed sporadically (as potato skins usually are), there were giant pieces of soggy bacon under the cheese.
My second experience made me sad more than anything, the first time I came here I would have classified Andrew's as one of the better diners on the island. Now I'm not to sure, perhaps I'll try going into the restaurant again. But stay away from those burgers!
It's a dinner with really fresh food! I was surprised how good the fish was.
Service was good.
Very good diner with excellent service. My bf lives around the corner and we come here a couple times a month. Very good food, great portions, good price and fast service. Also very clean.
When it comes to diners, my go tos are Mike's Place on Hylan, the Colonnade on Hylan, or Andrews. All depends where I am on the island and what time of the day it is.
Andrews has some pretty good diner food though. Decent burgers but my favorite here is their greek chicken wrap with grilled chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, feta. so good. Their fries are yummy too!
in a small stip mall so Parking here kind of sucks if you're there during the day.
