I didn't know what to expect of French Algerian food. It's pretty damn delicious. The Brik au Thon is alright but I found the Chicken Bastilla really interesting with its sweet/savory cinnamon chicken thing going on. I'd also recommend the chicken tagine and lamb couscous, both are outstanding. This resto makes me wish I had a french algerian granny who cooked for me while growing up.
Wonderful Moroccan food with attentive service. We had the brik au thon ($11), which featured a hearty amount of tuna lightly fried with an egg. We also had the merguez couscous ($18), which was very good. The couscous, vegetables and the merguez (lamb sausage) all came on separate plates for you to combine in you own bowl. The merguez itself was exceptional though the vegetables did not pop with flavor and required the use of the harissa that was also brought with the meal.
I also had the omartini, which was a refreshing gin martini for $11.
Overall it was a very enjoyable meal though I feel Cafe Mogador might have better food that is similar
