The best empanada I ever had (not that I tried many since there is a dearth of Latin American food in Singapore).
The chicken empanada we were offered was freshly made and was still hot to the touch. That probably made the difference. The shell was crispy and not too floury, the meat was tasty and pretty generous. No miserly portion here. There were many types of hot sauces for you to doctor your food with. Go crazy with it!
The service was great and the staff were friendly. A hidden gem in the Washington Heights area. I would definitely want to go back when I am in NYC again.
It is a smallish place with only a couple of cocktail tables so it may be better to either grab and go or have a quick bite. Street parking is available though good luck in finding an empty spot.
