Like any other Chipotle I guess. You know what you want, and you expect to get it quickly. It tasted great. The way each and every Chipotle should be.
This used to be my favorite Chipotle out of the 5 or 6 in the area. The lines were long during lunch time but the staff here were quick and got the line moving efficiently. The past few times I have been there it has been the complete opposite. It went from about 12-15 friendly employees to 4 who have no clue. They serve meager portions, and look as miserable as the tiny amount of food on my plate. I was completely disappointed today. No sauces anywhere and when I asked for some I was told they were out. The soda wasn't working properly and no one seemed to care to fix it. When I asked the employee there what happened to everyone else that used to work there I was told that because of low sales they had to cut down on employees. Well that doesnt surprise me. Who would want to keep coming back here with such poor service.
Delicious, of course. Went on a random Tuesday evening and even though it was late and there wasn't much of a crowd everything was fresh, hot and amazing. Every time I'm abroad I look forward to Chipotle when I get back.
I've been to many different Chipotles across the country and this one had by far the freshest looking guac, fajita veggies, and chicken. There's nothing work than getting brown tinted guac or burnt cubes of chicken. Aside from the freshness this place is everything you would expect in a Chipotle.
I was also pleasantly surprised at how empty this place was at 6pm on a weeknight given the hoards of tourists and crowds in the Times Square area. Additionally the service was fantastic with polite friendly burrito artists.
I had to take off one star because of the lack of signage to help identify the restaurant. I clearly wasn't paying enough attention and walked right past it and there are no big signs that you could see from more than a few feet away.
I'm normally a fan of Chipotle, but I didn't like this location. Service wasn't good (I know they're not known for their service, but this was noticeably worse).
My go-to dish at Chipotle is the steak burrito bowl. I'm not sure what they did this time, but my burrito bowl was more of a burrito soup. I asked for extra sour cream, and maybe it wasn't cooled enough so it had a lot of water? Whatever the case may be, the steak still tasted good, but I didn't want to deal with the bad service again, so I didn't complain.
Think I'll stick to their other locations.
It's a Chipotle. They seem to explode my burrito less often than my home Chipotle on 110th and Broadway. That's good, I guess? They have the same booze options, so if you wanted a liquid lunch in Midtown, you can get beer or a margarita here. Fast food margaritas… kinda weird. But hey, if you've got the urge…
