This is a mainstay in my old neighborhood. It brings back warm memories. I ordered the veggie burger while my brother ordered the turkey burger with waffle fries to go over the phone. They packed up regular fries by mistake, so I had to wait for them to redo the fries when I arrived. The staff is really friendly especially at 4:30 in the morning! The veggie burger wasn't amazing, but I'm happy they have that for an option. And even though we didn't eat it, they pack a pickle and coleslaw with each burger order. Typical diner food within a clean environment.
My friend and I decided to come here since its not too far from us.
The food here is very average . Nothing too special about it. The food is cheap and thats exactly how the food taste.
The staff is just okay. Our waiter gave me the wrong juice. I asked for Grapefruit, instead he brought back orange. Took forever to get his attention to get him to take it back.
They should really rennovate this diner. Its very old looking. The decor isnt very welcoming.It's just your regualr old fashion diner. I just feel like I could have stayed home and made the same exact things I ordered, but better. I dont know if I will be comming back .
This used to be the neighborhood diner. It's just not the same anymore. I remember my pops used to take me here when I was a lil girl. The food was decent a decade ago. Now it's just…..smh. I don't know how it's up and running still. Go to Valbrook Diner up merrick. That diner is the bomb!
