“The weather was dreadful: windy, mixture of snow and rain, gray skies.”
“Only been a few times, but the staff seems very nice, and I met a few "regulars" too who were friendly upper west side people.”
“The Grilled Octopus is fantastic (and I usually hate octopus) and the Haloumi alone has prompted a special trip.”

A really extensive menu of Greek and Italian dishes and the food is really great! I got a Gyro platter and it was awesome. The portions are very generous and for pretty decent prices. It's a pretty casual spot, we were lucky to be able to enjoy their outdoor seating during the summer – it's under a canopy which was nice because we had a few bouts of light drizzle. My only complaint was that they never brought me my extra side of tzatziki but I'll let it slide. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food and we had a really nice experience here.
Just had a horrible experience. We won't be back. The food is not that good. Not really a welcoming place.
Really happy with this little but busy Mediterranean Greek restaurant. The staff was really helpful and helped us in selecting our meal with a bit of customisation. The giant greek beans were flavorful and the whole wheat pita bread was fresh from the oven. Above all, was the angel hair pasta in a mix of white n red sauce. Yummy! Definitely a good dining experience.
Lousy service and smaller-than-average portions–methinks not on a return trip. Best of the bunch was the Penne alla Vodka. The specials of the day–the Linguine with Mushroom and Asparagus, and the Lemon Sole with Risotto–were both bland bordering on flavorless, while the Stuffed Squash elicited head shakes all around.
Stopped here on a whim and thought is was pretty good.
It's nothing spectacular or exciting, and not very "Greek" feeling, but the food is tasty and the service is decent.
Great neighborhood find. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The dishes were mainly Greek and Italian. We both liked what we got. The prices were very reasonable and the portions were large. It is a great place to go before catching a show at the Symphony Space.
Not too shabby. I've been here twice to enjoy their $11.95 brunch deal. They have a variety of options to choose from such as omelets, wraps and sandwiches. These options are served with a side option of french fries or salad. They also include a choice btwn a bloody mary or mimosa.
During my first visit I remember having their omelets and thinking yum these are splendid!! Yet, when I visited this past sunday and had their italian omelette I wasn't blown away. The food lacked a little spice to it making it taste just all right. I had brunch with my parents and it was a nice time, but if you are looking for a boozy brunch with friends, then I suggest trying elsewhere.
P.S. If I do return I'd like to try their $7 sangria. (They also have many wine options that range btwn $7-$9). And remember to take advantage of their outdoor seating as spring/summer weather is approaching!
Pretty good pizza. It's open late. If you like to eat healthy, they've got a broccoli slice.
