  1. Eden Wok, you earned another star yesterday.  One of the execs at my company not only keeps Kosher, but has celiac disease and when I called to see if you could make him a special gluten-free Chicken and Broccoli to be delivered to my office (and not just the steamed Chicken and Broccoli off the diet menu), you put the chef himself on the phone who was more than happy to do it and seemed quite knowledgable about gluten-free cooking.  The food came quickly, smelled delicious and got rave reviews.  Good work!!!

  2. For a kosher chinese resturant there is really nothing special about the chinese food.  On the other hand they do offer very creative sushi.  I had their "Tuna Panini" its sort of like a lasagna.  Starts with a thin layer of sushi rice and topped with a hardy layer of spicy tuna on top of that another thin layer of sushi rice then topped off and finished with a large strip of tuna.  Then this whole lovely creation is cut into hearty bite sizes you get about 8.  On four of the pieces they put a little wasabe mayo.  The other four pieces are plain but they give you a side of spicy mayo sauce and soy sauce which allows you to switch up the flavor.   They have other types of fish that they use but I just love the tuna.  A must try.  This is the only reason i gave them 4 stars.

  3. i came here because my friend is kosher, otherwise, i wouldn't even come here, it was close to work, we had late night dinners here because had to stay late for work, had the chinese food vegetables dish, it was actually decent, and didn't taste that bad, and the portions were not small surprisingly, with kosher food, its considered expensive compared to regular chinese food, i need to open one of these restaurants because i'll be a zillionaire, i'm going to call it ham & cheese

  4. Eden Wok is not one of the greatest kosher Chinese places, but it's not bad. It's convenient for those working or learning in the area, such as the lovely rebbetzins in training of Stern College. Delivery through Grubhub was prompt, and the food came hot and properly wrapped. The sweet sauce for the fried wontons was yummy, and the wontons themselves were not greasy. A Chinese steak sandwich was tender, well seasoned, and the baguette was soft on the inside, fresh, and crispy on the outside. On a previous occasion, I had a fried tofu dish with vegetables and white rice that was very good. Cleanliness is sort of lacking, sadly, which is a shame in a kosher place. They often run very good specials, such as buy one get half off the second dinner entree. I'd like to try some of those entrees one of these days, especially the duck and veal dishes. They seem to be owned by the same folks as Pitopia.

  5. I have to agree with the other reviewers about this place.  This is a chinese Kosher place.  Because it's kosher it is more expensive than other chinese places.  Quality?  barely matches with other chinese take outs around it at best.  Then, the staff is not that nice either.  They are not flat out rude, but somehow I feel detached from them whenever I ordered food.  I only went back to this place only when I absolutely had no other options.

  6. This was bad. I didnt know it was kosher chinese food until I looked around and everyone was wearing a yarmulke on their head. The steamed wontons ($5 and change) fell apart, the peanut sauce they served with it was disgusting, and the hot pepper sauce wasnt really hot. It took almost 15 minutes for them to prepare it as well.  I satisfied my curiosity by coming in here, and now I know not to come back.
